Does anyone know if the new Congress knives also have half-stops??

waynorth waynorth Don't know, but I'd imagine they would be like the originals? Mine's on its way now, but the paradox of the Digi-Age is that stuff is taking longer than ever to get here:eek: Looking forward to it, let's hope it's here by Easter:)

I've been seeing a lot of cool Laguioles recently and decided to tote this ebony slicer. :)
Thank yoU JJ. A fine looking Laguiole.

@traumkommode - Your modification was/is exceptional.

@5K Qs - Thank you GT. Your RR cotton sampler is a fine looking knife. The Stag Buck canoe is fabulous.

@Amir Fleschwund - Thank you. It is a wonderfully done conversion. Fine EO Camille’s. Made nicer by its’ connection to your Grandpa.

@pmek5 - Love the cover on your TC, Tim.

Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley - Nice looking Case BackPocket with a nice slip cover to wrap around it, Gary.

I hope your mom is doing as well as can be expected, JJ.
Those journals definitely look familiar, but I know nothing about Schur-convexity and its applications! ;):eek: I'm no longer a member of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), but for years I received one of their journals. I started out getting the Math Monthly, but eventually switched to the College Math Journal (or sometimes, Mathematics Magazine) because it had more articles I could actually understand!
Thank you for your kind words Gary!!! It was all Greek to me though I figured you knew the pubs! :)
Here are a couple of examples of RR stag bone I have; I think they do it much better now than they used to. I much prefer the covers on the cotton sampler to those of your congress or my canoe - YMMV. ;)

You always acquire the coolest RR patterns! I just saw today they released a "Kamp King" after acquiring the 80+ year old Trademark; I need one of those!
There's just something elegant about the French Laguioles; yours is certainly wonderful, Gev!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Sowbelly Stockman this week is a Rough Rider yellow synthetic model in carbon steel (should have named it my 2019 KOTY):

Regular Stockman this week is an Uncle Henry stainless 897UH with some miles on it. Nice low-riding sheepsfoot, and almost sunk joints, and although the blades are stainless, the back springs are not:

You always have the most striking lambs and this William Rodgers is no exception; lovely image too!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I see what you mean, José. I wonder if you could tighten them up by peening the pivot pin so they don't close quite as easily.

Thank you, Gary. Yes this is possible but I'm afraid of damaging the bolster!;):thumbsup:
