What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back from the day in the rabbit patch and the only knives that I'm totin' are the ones I took and am now totin' from the truck to the house. Thanks, guys, for the encouragement. Gettin' better, especially after a day afield with some friends and 11 beagles. As you can see below, someone was lucky and it wasn't Brer Rabbit:

I always like seeing that Cunningham fix blade, very nice looking knife and quite handy on a rabbit hunt I imagine.

Are those currants on the pancakes?

They're actually bilberries Jer, very common here when I was a kid, but they have largely been supplanted by larger North American blueberries

Hope you are enjoying Pancake Day, Jack.:thumbsup:

Thanks a lot John :)

My new (to me) Canal Street Pinch is going in the pocket.
It's a really well designed and built lockback knife and I love the bright covers.

That is very colourful! I like it :)

With so many knives in the collection, I still come back to the Buck 110 in the winter because of its size. It allows me to pinch open the blade with gloves or mittens, close easily without looking, and rides nicely in jacket or thigh pocket. This one's aluminum framed, so it's light. I don't have to fumble with a sheath that might be covered by jacket and sweater. Its workings are oversized so it seldom gets clogged with hay, dirt, horsehair, or snow. Right knife for a windy, nasty day like today: Overcast, high of 19°, and currently wind at 30mph from the North. But the horses must be worked.

The watch is a Breitling Aviator Huit 41mm. A forever tool watch Sweetie Pie bought me last year. I don't know if I've shown it off on the Porch yet. It's a joy to wear.

I was kindly gifted this Wenger with the beautiful and intricate fob by Guardian and porch denizen @mitch4ging. Both he and my late Father were 3rd AD Spearhead veterans, albeit of different conflicts. Dennis sent me an amazing array of memorabilia. This SA was carried by Dennis throughout is tour of Duty during the Gulf War. I have such respect for all the Sheepdogs. Thank you Dennis. I will treasure this knife and fob.
