For today a couple of red boned jacks, a Case and a GEC. :)
Thank you kindly, JJ. A pair to be proud of. The tones and colors of the image enhance the beauty of these two special knives. Well done. Part2...For a work knife, your Bull Buster is quite elegant. That Keen Kutter is a gem.

@Amir Fleschwund - Thank you kind words, Jeff. Looking forward this. The ivoroid:))) and the jigged delrin are two fine looking vintage knives.

@Old Engineer - Thank you for the kind invitation. Mighty fine Barlows, Harry.

Jack Black Jack Black - Very nice Is that a bird and trout knife? Looks like it can take a lickin and keep on tickin. Nice Ka-Bar. An excellent accompaniment to the Hartshead.

@Chui - Beautiful knife and a great read, Paul.

Prester John Prester John - Fine image, Vince, of your gorgeous Laguiole.

5K Qs 5K Qs - That Colt Black Stag Sowbelly is a humdinger.

Thanks buddy :)

Sticking with the Case theme this week.
This Texas Jack, a gift from @Modoc ED Hope he's recovering and will check in soon.

Classic John  +1 on @Modoc ED , hope he's back on The Porch soon :)

I had lunch with Stuart @Duckdog on Thursday. We had a good hot meal at Whitlows on Wilson Ave in Arlington. This is one of the places that Stuart introduced me to last year when we first meet. Our meal yesterday was an Open Faced Turkey Sandwich. It was served on sourdough bread with mashed potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce. They cook their own turkeys and it was delicious. Stuart and I were looking at three pockets full of fine traditional folders that he was totin for show and tell. The assortment consisted of Black Box Winchester’s and Schrade made Parker-Frost with Bone and Stag Bone handles. After lunch was over we both realized that we didn’t take any photos. :D Oh well! We’ll be sure and get some next week! I was carrying my SBJ yesterday and again today!

Thanks for sharing that Ron, and it's great to hear that you and Stuart will be meeting up again soon :) That's a lot of working knife for a retired feller ;) :D

Just got this one the other day from a fine forum member that decided to let it go. I've been looking for one of these for 10+ years. You don't see them offered very often, and I was always late to the party. Too say I'm happy about finally having one is a huge understatement.

This Ron Lake/Paul Chen, CAS Iberia collaboration is as nice as any handmade knife I own, and nicer than many.

Lake's Interframe with the tab lock was a roaring success when it arrived on the scene and this collab made a Blade Magazine cover in 2002. I'd love to have a picture of that cover! This is 1 of 500 made. It's essentially a variation on a lockback. Ron Lake stated that these were a "Completely Hand-crafted Knife".

I'm going to carry it and use it carefully. I'm not one to put things away that I like. At 3 1/4" long and 5/16" across the spine it's very pocketable. It pinches open and locks up like a vault.

A few pics.

A gift for my kitchen from @Reaper AL Harry, but I like it so much, I could certainly see me carrying it afoot :) Thank you for the kind words my friend

It sure was Pete, but a kind gesture is never forgotten my friend :) It's a shame the old 'workout' thread isn't here still, with all your pics of it :( I like your set-up there, hope you and your family are all doing well Pete, and that you still get to fish. All's good with me :)

I'll keep riding for the Case Brand this week... 1970's Dogleg Jack.
I've always loved the little dogleg jacks, currently I've only got an Imperial and a 12OT single blade.
I think that's gonna change here soon, gotta find me a little two blade dogleg.
Camillus made some good ones that don't command much so I think that's where I'll start looking.
