Belated Happy Anniversary!:thumbsup::cool: Which number is it? I know 25th is silver and 50th is golden, but I don't know which anniversary is the one for an incredible pocket knife!!

Thanks GT, got that Böker on the workbench in the shed, just need to fix the tip and it will go back into my EDC rotation. Good luck on your quest - it is true for me that the search is as fun as the find - the stuff I find in those places is amazing at times (and frequently disappointing). OH
:cool::):cool:

Is that what Case called "green bone", Mike? Goodness, that looks handsome!:thumbsup::cool:

I broke the buckle on my buddy's belt trying to take an oil filter off of his pickup yesterday. Gonna pop the stitching and put a new one on for him.
I haven't changed my own oil in at least a couple of decades, but I changed plenty of oil and filters before that, and I'm trying to figure out how you guys broke that belt. Everything I think of is totally crazy :p, unless he gave you his belt to try to use as an oil filter wrench!

Rough Rider Black Cherry Bone Lockback Canoe
I'm quite a canoesseur myself, so I like your canoes!:thumbsup::cool: That message on the page behind the Case canoe is always entertaining to me! ;)

I've always found Marttiini knives good, and good value too

It seems to be harder and harder to get it done here Gary, I don't know why o_O Yes, for sure :D

Probably my favourite Stockman pattern
...
Thanks for your valued opinion on the Marttiini brand, Jack.:)
Strange to me that engraving should be a skill that we're losing.:(
I like stockman patterns in general, but sowbellies are a quantum leap above for me! ;):cool:

These two today, my first day back at work from a 5 day vacation :).
...
Welcome back, Tom; I hope you had an enjoyable and memorable vacation!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
Thank you, Gary. Now we know the genesis of your sowbelly love. :D Of course, it would be an RR amber jigged bone, part of that set you got, right?:thumbsup:
Exactly right, Dean! ;) That 12-knife set was a very influential purchase for me!

Is there a second (possibly brass?) blade/tool in the end of the Victorinox opposite the clip blade?? Cool couple of knives!:cool::thumbsup:

That is exactly what we were doing, my old belt was primo for such a use, but I've since switched to a steel core belt for ccw... His was an old flimsy thing and the buckle was just a cruddy old pot metal thing. I wound up making him a new one from copper ground wire. I wouldn't use it for a filter wrench, but it's still holding his pants up... :p

Hi Gary. The listing said it was appaloosa bone. It has some great colors in it for sure. There's white, brown, orange, and red mixed in there, especially as it gets closer to the bolsters. I find myself getting lost staring at it occasionally  Appreciate the comment, my friend!

Your "leg" knife is pretty neat, and I always love looking at the grain pattern in Union Jack :)
