Is the brown the original color? Mine's grey. Or is that something other than sucker rod wood?

mbkr Mine is mostly gray as well, its the light that is giving it a brown tint. The pic was actually taken yesterday near sunset so I think the light was playing tricks. The chunk of concrete its sitting on normally looks pale grey but also has taken a yellowish/orange tint. I think professional picture takers call the hour after sunrise and before sunset magic hour because of the great lighting but I sure aint a professional picture taker, I just get lucky
