What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Happy Birthday, Dean, and I hope you enjoy many more!:)

Although I've committed, in Crazy Canuck Crazy Canuck 's "Mystery GAW/Challenge", to USE only this new-to-me Imperial Kamp-King this week,

I'm still carrying all the knives prescribed by my schedule for this week. Here are some of them.

Alox Knife of the Week is a Vic Classic (thanks, Ken), and coincidentally, non-Alox SAK of the Week is also a Classic!

Bailed non-SAK of the Week is a Cannon spearpoint:

International Knife of the Week is a gift my daughter bought me in Toledo, Spain (no maker ID on the knife, but research has convinced me it's manufactured by the Spanish company Salamandra):

Your Opinel looks effective with that old scout, Tom, and electrifying with the shocking blue Pioneer X (?)!:thumbsup::cool: Did you drill your lanyard hole yet?
- GT

Thanks GT! Not yet, we are still getting to know each other and determining if this is going to be a long term relationship :). I really like the way it carries and slices, it does dull fairly quickly as well. It is great at food prep and very easy to bring the edge back.

Day 4, the Opinel is still going strong. It did dull significantly when opening a clam shell package, but a few swipes on the stones and it was back to scalpel like sharpness.

Case peanut & blueberry scone.

A couple wearing cocobolo; one from Cattaraugus and one from Ulster. :)
Most thankful for your continuing appreciation. Very fine image. Excellent pair of dark cocobolo-clad knives.between the details like the bale, lanyard, etc., and the handsome simplicity of the Cattaraugus, I am having a hard time choosing which one I like more.

@Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Fine image of your Hartshead. The background is perfect. Love orange F&F.

5K Qs 5K Qs - Much thanks, GT. Your Kamp-King is too cool. Beautifully designed Spanish knife.

On another birthday (of which, I have had too many). I am carrying my Uncle Henry Premium Stockman (I've had this one about 35 years) and my TC 14 (which looks older).

Happy Birthday, Dean! I also belong to the "Too Many Birthdays Club" although mine's not until June.

Nope!
Considering the alternative, there’s no such thing as too many birthdays.

Here’s another one... Tis better to be seen than viewed.:D

Many happy returns, Dean!

Carrying these on a Wooden Wednesday .

One great benefit of Crazy Canuck’s weeklong giveaway challenge is getting to see this old boy. It’s really growing on me.
Any chance it was that maker’s version of a Farmer’s Jack?

Nice to see the old TL-29 getting some respect, too, but you know I’ve got a thing for those. A truly useful knife.

Some people did not think that it was a version of a Farmer's Jack . I prefer to call it a Farmer's Knife . It does have a blade or blades on each end therefore it is technically not a Jack .
I do know that you have a thing for any TL-29 . I do not believe that I have seen that you have one with the TL-29 Shield . Is that correct ???? This one still needs a little cleaning up yet . I have not done a thing to it yet .
