What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Celebrating baby girls virus test coming back negative. We are off quarantine and I can go back to work. Well, that last part sucks. My anxiety is climbing now. I don’t like schedule changes and they’ve changed ours fairly drastically. At least I missed 3 of the 7 nights I’d work this month.

All that said, thank you all for the prayers (and even the thoughts and smoke and good vibes, I believe God hears them all, even from those who don’t know him) from you guys. My ex wife’s wife is still very sick and could use some of those prayers/thoughts/smoke her way if you guys will toss one more out there.

You got it SVTFreak SVTFreak , we are all in this together! My prayers go out for your family and friends. I also pray for all of those who have died and their family members. So much suffering already and so much more to come. But we are a strong nation and will bounce back as we have done so many times before!

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes, especially @Txjohn , Jack Black Jack Black ,@Peregrin , 315 315

And thank you for your comments on my Jess Horn @Half/Stop , @Peregrin , and @Duckdog . The phrase grail knife is thrown around quite a bit, but that knife is one of a handful which I am fortunate to own and will probably never let get away. I have to say probably, because I have sold several knives already that I thought I never would. We are a fickle bunch aren’t we?!

You certainly pocketed a pair of stunners today, from both sides of the "pond!" Very cool photos of both bladed beauties, as well!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Really like that small blade, I've got a Muskratman small puukko in Nat.Micarta but it's matte finish & I'd much prefer a polished finish, but how to get it? Another tasteful composition from you, some great items there.

Thanks, Will
Thank you Will! Those Muskrat knives look great too. On their website the micarta does look more polished than matte but photos can be deceiving and each knife maker has his own micarta look.

Going with this German stag hunter today. :)

Many thanks JJ, that's some stunning stag for Saturday :)

Hope everyone is safe and well, and that you're finding something to do this weekend :) With the pubs, restaurants, cinemas, and museums closed here, the transport system grinding to a halt, and 'self-isolation' the order of the day - and I gave up booze and cake for Lent! - it's going to be dull here, but The Porch is still here, and I'm having a Double Lambsfoot Day, (with a Gnome on the side) :)

Your 85 is a beaut.
I took a chance yesterday, and made my first planting of kale in a couple of my raised beds. We usually hold off most planting until around Mother’s Day, but
kale is really cold tolerant, so we’ll see. And of course, we had a good hard frost last night!
If I have to, I will just replant. But if it works out, I’ll have fresh greens earlier than usual. I think that might be welcome this year.
Just a little over 100 years ago, and again in the 40’s, everyone had a Victory Garden. This year, our home gardens just might play a similar role. I, for one, am expanding my beds again. And before all this started, I became partners in an organic market farm.

Why be a grass farmer when you can grow food?
