What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I have used this Opinel for many years, and it shows!

Thank you for the compliment Jeff, Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund . That knife is a Wharncliff Trapper Case Bose collaboration. It is just over 3.5 inches closed and very easy to pocket. The two blades make it useful. Tony Bose himself carries one on a daily basis. And we did have an early spring. Lots of blackberries and a beautiful crop of what we call Japanese Plums. I believe the true name is Loquat? Regardless, we made a couple dozen jars of preserve and left most of the fruit in the tree! Good luck with your blackberries. They are hard to get to here, and we always have to watch out for the Copperhead Snakes. But they are worth it!

Hi folks, just stopping by to see the stalwarts carrying on the fantastic display of pocket knives. Kudos to everyone posting here daily, it’s an inspiration. I hope everyone is safe and sane on this day of our Savior’s resurrection. Happy Easter to all!

Barrett, I’ve got several knives that came from Bob. As far as I’m concerned they’re priceless! By the way, that’s a great photo of your #25!

Thanks, Ron. I completely agree!

Love the picture and the knife.:thumbsup:

Thanks, John! The spear point #25’s are one my favorite GEC patterns.

I have quite a few of those canvas pouches, in different sizes, Barrett :) Made in Duluth. A little pricey over here, but good quality, and they remind me of my pals in Minnesota :)

That looks like a quality pouch, Jack. I’ll have to check that company out.

Happy Easter Sunday everyone. Sticking with the Forum Knife theme for this weekend :)

That one might be my favorite annual forum knife. I love the extra-pointy punch on those!

Today my bride of almost 60 years made us a Pineapple Upside Down Cake and of course I helped by only putting the cherries in place and putting a timer on . We now wish that we could have some of our family and or friends in but that will not happen for a while yet .

Knife Content : Northfield 73 in my pocket today

We have one daughter living in Michigan who sends us pictures of some of the wild life that comes onto their property . And it does not take a lot to entertain me .

We wish you all a very fine special day today my friends .

Harry

That cake looks delicious, Harry! (And I have to say, it looks like those cherries were placed by a pro!) :D I hope you and the Mrs. had a nice Easter!

Beautiful patina on that Opinel!

Yesterday I was sitting on the front porch in shorts and a t-shirt. Today it snowed most of the morning. We got about 3.5” of snow, or just shy of one Bull Nose, if you prefer that unit of measurement. :D

Happy Easter folks :) Site is busy, and it's taken me nearly until lunchtime to catch up just a little. Just had my coffee and ginger biscuits :D Three black knives for me today ;) Have a good Sunday my friends, stay safe and well

Monday’s carry will be one of my Beloved 62 easy pockets

In my view, one of GECs greatest releases. Deeply impressive build quality, interesting variation of shields and scales plus a 3 blade version for those who need it. Feel very fortunate to have got the three I wanted-particularly in view of the shut-down. Did go after a Stag in a half hearted way, but the dealer did not respond to my e-mail enquiries(plural)disappointed but it was meant to be. Never been so wild about GEC Stags after they implemented the shield free zone anyway ;)

Thanks for the compliment on my Radiant Jack! :) You’ve picked three nice ones for Easter! Nice Ebony in your choices. I don’t recall that Ebony S&M. Is that from the Heritage Series? Now that Ebony Bigun, well you already know how I feel about that beauty! ;) Have a safe and blessed Easter my friend! :D

Thanks a lot Ron, been a while since I carried the S&M Heritage Jack, the horn has expanded a little in storage, so it fits the scales better now :) Hope you had a good one too my friend

Great to see your Radiant again Ron, and the fancy Trapper is a beauty :)

Jack Black Jack Black ~ Are you totin the Skean Dhu tucked into a sock under a kilt?

I carried it tucked away Jeff, but not in my sock! :D My house was built by Sir Walter Scott, but the man sure invented some darn foolishness  ;)

Lovely old pair of Schrades my friend :)

Thanks, Jack! Ain't stag wonderful? :)

It sure is Vince! :D

Barlow and a Stockman for Easter

Great-looking old pair Steve :)

Love that pic John! :D

You La folks are way ahead of us. My blackberries are just now budding.
Last weekend, I went into my patch with a heavy canvas shirt, and my heaviest gloves for some long overdue pruning and transplanting. Still lost some blood, though.
Removed all the dead canes, and carted off to the burn pile, then cleared a path through the middle. Without doing that, there’s just no way to get in there to pick. And the plants should produce more as they’ll get a lot more air and light. Filled my cart with dug up plants and lined them out.
Happy Easter!

I envy you folks, my blackberries won't be out until the end of July! ;)

I finally got outside for a walk.

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. You’re the first person I wanted to show it to.:) Three fine images of three fine knives. You too, be safe and well.

I'm honoured Harvey, thank you my friend :)

Smashing pics, as always, Harvey

No, r8shell, but the perspective in that picture is misleading. They aren't melon tester size. Here they are with some real melon/citrus/sausage testers:

The Wilson Sausage tester is 10 1/2" OAL. I toted the yellowish one today; it was a pleasure.

- Stuart

Nice to see all of those Stuart, I should have slipped a Sausage Tester in my pocket when I was having my one-man BBQ yesterday :D

That looks like a quality pouch, Jack. I’ll have to check that company out.

Thought I'd start the week with a couple of my favorites GECs. :)

Thank you JJ, great start to the week there :)

Morning folks, The Porch sure is busy at the moment! Hope everyone is comfortable, and enjoying the extra time here ;) Stay safe, and have a good week

My Greedy Threesome today, Unity Lambsfoot, Winchester Bull-Head, and @paulhilborn 's boyhood Olsen (as you can see, that's an old pic! :D)

Really cool old Pointy Sticky thing there Jack!
“Tucked away, but not in a sock”...flirting with disaster!

Glad you like my 293Y, and 881Y! The Stockman was a very thoughtful gift from Rachell @r8shell, so I’d have a yellow sibling to my Trapper.

Today’s totes showing off a tulip bud. Brave and hardy tulip, because it’s only 34 degrees f. And I was sort of dreading work in this chilly, windy weather, until I saw the snowpocalypse photos posted by btb01 btb01 !
