If I had a #29 in Osage, I'd be carrying it today too, but I'll have to go with my jigged bone version. It was a very tough choice between those two, but I have no regrets. My contribution to "Wooden Wednesday" consists of these three.. (my watch pocket knife is jigged bone)
The forum knife in blackwood, the 29 stockyard whittler in osage, and the 62 easy pocket in desert ironwood. Did I mention I really like cargo pants?
I figure I'm ready for anything work throws my way today....

As a purple footed kid, I'd just climb up and eat them off the tree. Nowadays I carry them home and wash them first. That Böker is a beauty, Rachel! What do you plan to do with the mulberries you pick? I've had no regrets about getting rid of a mulberry tree in our yard decades ago; it always resulted in annual messes.
Awesome Barlow.Miscellaneous knife for me this week is a Case sawcut 2-blade Barlow:

I don't blame you .... that's a nice looking knife. The osage is just what came in a trade... as I said in another thread, I really wasn't interested in the 29's... until I had one. They are remarkably ergonomic. If I had a #29 in Osage, I'd be carrying it today too, but I'll have to go with my jigged bone version. It was a very tough choice between those two, but I have no regrets.
Looks mighty fine, Tom
Thank you! It's my favorite version of the 86Now that is cool![]()
Thank you!I'm not a big fixed blade kind of guy, but that one sure is nice.
