...because any day is a good day to tote a Schrade.
You could say that about any kind of berry.I never tried eating mulberries after seeing how they "went through" the neighborhood birds that ate them.Recent events make me wish I had followed your lead regarding retirement planning.

Pretty good haul today:

Mulberries are good, but I'd trade them in a heartbeat for raspberries. I live too far south for them to grow, but I remember picking them in my grandmother's back yard in Pittsburgh. Every store-bought raspberry I've eaten since has tasted like disappointment.I love mulberries, but I live too far north to get the chance to pick them. Seeing your photos r8shell, I can just taste them. Oh so good.
Edited to add: some knife content - I have a lovely brand new, Bear and Sons bonestag clip/pen Barlow. I sharpened it up, and it's in the pocket. It has taken the place of my former 'steady' the Cammillus #18.
Photos and impressions to follow.
Thank you for the nice words, JJ.
An antique stereoscope. What's the background in that photo?
Dean, you certainly carry a lot of beguiling and varied classics!!
Thanks for the encouragement, Dean.
