What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Hey, great photos and knives guys! 110 pages since I last checked this thread. I think I need to get back into the swing of things...maybe. Anywhoo, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there who might stumble through this forum!

Carried the ultra-useful Camillus C-4 showcasing a 30-06 casing, which I wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for inspiration from @Buzzbait who has literally catalogued this particular knife for posterity on this forum.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and that you have a peaceful and relaxing Sunday. Carrying these three today, ebony Lambsfoot, Waynorth Cutlery Black Jack, and 'AW's '44 Fascist Hunter, made from a cut-down British bayonet

Many thanks JJ :D

A Barlow and a Whit-L-Craft to start the week. :)

Your Whit-L-Craft is a very interesting pattern JJ, great to see it :) I like your Barlow too, who is the maker if I may ask?

Have a good week folks, be careful out there :)

Hartshead Barlow, '44 Gunstock, and a wee Linder Jagdnicker sent to me by Andi @Humppa :)

Such a pretty knife I really wanted, I hope I can get over the terrible action. The lock up is rock solid, but it's so weird that that there's nice tension on opening until 90 degrees then there's nothing between 90 and 135 degrees.

That is a beauty. Maybe the action will even out with use.

I wonder how Andi @Humppa is doing. He was advising me on Jagdnickers (that looked a little funny without the "Jagd") some time back, and I tried to get his attention recently with the one I finally got.
It could be a good thing if he's too busy to look in here.

I'm still looking for a large, medium, small, fixed, slipjoint, lockback, single blade multiblade. I may have to build it myself.

Yours is a Hubertus, if I see the stamp right? Are you pleased with it? I've been thinking about getting one as well, they are traditional for the Alpine regions. But then I'd have to get a pair of Lederhosen as well ... (which I gladly would)

I remember when he called in Jer, I hope he's doing well :) Our knives look to be the same size

Looking good Jack! Have a good week my friend! :)

Thanks pal, you too :)

They are widely seen on the hills and mountains aren't they? :) I knew a guy in Sheffield (actually one of Joseph Rodgers last cutlery apprentices) whose German mother sent him to school on a fairly tough Sheffield housing project wearing Lederhosen! :D

Good morning y’all! Hope everyone has a great day! :)
