Thank you for those kind words Harvey!Thank you for the tempting offer, Ron.You’ve been posting a slew of fine sharps. That white bone hafted WCLF is a gorgeous unicorn.

I’m carrying these two today. I don’t carry a trapper as often as I should, it use to be my most carried pattern. Me and the trapper pattern have a long history. Growing up one of mentors carried a old chestnut bone Case cv trapper. He and I would spend weeks camping and fishing on the gulf coast of Florida. I was in awe how the almost black spey blade made easy work of a cooler full of fish. I had a yellow cv trapper in my pocket the day I married my wife. The day my son was born I had a red bone cv trapper with me. A Case mini trapper yellow CV has been on my want list for a long time, think I will finally get one on order this week! Ok enough rambling. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I’m hoping to talk Jim Dunlap into slanted bolsters on the knife he is going to make for me. There is just something about those slants. I don’t care for pinched or wired but those slants! It looks like there are eyeballs under your knife sneeking a peek
That is such a great knife. Love the slanted bolsters!
Actually it does apply to both the knife and the beer!I realize now you might have been referring to the knife.

JonMcD I’m looking at having this one ( it’s a 4 inch) done in a 3.5. Love the federal shield and if the boosters are slanted it will be past perfect!View attachment 1338051
