What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

MT I have the same DMT box, it's nice, isn't it??

Still my #620311 courthouse whittler in ebony by GEC
But with a main blade sharpening/regrind Murray Carter style, worked out pretty well, almost mirror polish and now It's a shaving machine!!! You can see the reflexion of the lighter.

I'm toting a single blade Trapper by Bret Dowell.
Perfect for the left front pocket of my Levi's today.

Well, the Schrade Walden 832 (bottom knife in the picture below) didn't last long in the pocket today, as the mail carrier delivered the Schrade 834.

I agree, Stu, and glad you like it. (It's the only one of five Ruple's I own without any file work.)

Always good to see Bret's work. He does a great job. I'm hoping to hear from him one of these days on a project discussed many moons ago.

Gorgeous knives. I really like the wharncliffe trapper. Can't wait for the Forum knife to make it's way to my door.

I also live in Central New York, but unfortunately no woodswalking for me today. Driving the kids to and from practices/ music lessons with a Queen amber bone gunstock in my right front pocket and a Buck yellow comfortcraft Companion in the left front.

Elliot, do you have a photo of this knife with the blades all the way open? It looks to me like it would have some really aggressive curves!

I'm sorry, Kevin, those are the only ones I have on hand.
 
Darn! Thanks anyhow, Elliot. It looks like the shape of the handle would really put those blades in a great position opened in hand. That is the favorite part of my Rogers Sowbelly. If you cut a rope, the rope stays put naturally.
