What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Starting Trapper Tuesday with this:

Didn't know I would like the smooth white bone, but I love it. This was a Chrsitmas gift from my boss. (Yeah, I know--it's an Easter knife!)

That's a very interesting FB Gary, and matches the elegance of your Laguiole :)
Thanks, Jack.
Here's the description of that knife, made by member @zuluninja .

"Blade is CPMS35VN .095" stock, and was sent to Peter's for HT, coming back at 60-61 Rc.

Wharnie has a 2 3/4" blade, 5 3/4" overall length, with rounded/tapered cocobolo scales secured with G-Flex and stainless pins. Hermann Oak veg tan leather sheath has a crocodile overlay and a double loop calf lace stitch."

It's a handy, good looking knife with great workmanship. I wanted to try out that blade steel, which took and keeps a great edge, and I really liked the sheath, plus it was priced right.

Aren't you glad you showed an interest in it?:D;)

Me too Ron :( I know a few folks still have them, and regard them very highly :) British Steel knew, the specialist hardeners, and a few others, but I doubt many of those firms knew. It was a project that left a very bitter taste in my mouth, for the most part, sadly :( Thanks a lot my friend :)

Congratulations on your new Lambsfoot Ron, it's a beauty :) It pairs nicely with the Pony Jack

You had to PAY to have it disposed of?!  You should just have parked up on my street Ron, all the wood-burners would have stripped your truck clean for free! Honestly, I'll sometimes hear a chainsaw, where a tree is being felled in the neighbourhood, and the next thing there are packs roaming the streets, trying to find the source, so they can get some free firewood! :D
Thanks Jack! It does pair nicely with the Pony Jack! Jack, I actually loaded it by hand, then hauled it to the landfill, then unloaded it into the dumpster by hand and then PAID the fee! It was old lumber but it’s not recommended to burn pressure treated lumber. The treatment has some not so nice chemicals in it!

Thanks, Jack.

LOL! :D Thanks Gary, I really appreciate the information, I don't think I have used a knife with that blade steel (though I do struggle to remember!). It sounds as good as it looks my friend :)

All the professors who lived in the Kalamazoo College neighborhood used to come out after storms and tree-work to gather what they could.
A lot of good old oak trees were killed on the quad by new steam-pipes, apparently un-insulated.
The professors had cars. The old man who'd surveyed the neighborhood for the original developer used to go out with a little red wagon and pick up any little twig or branch.

Going bulkier today: Pal Cutlery Co/ Made in USA. 3.75" closed.

Handsome knife Joshua :)

Being a big fan of wood covers I must agree with you, outstanding looking color and grain in that beauty.

Very nice covers indeed. Such a great pattern.

Thank you, gentlemen.
