What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Back to work today with a small tinker and Mini Copperlock

I am trying out another one of the gaw box knives today for consideration, this yella rough rider whittler. It’s made as well as you could expect from them and is actually pretty impressive with the quality and f&f.

I prefer sticking to US made knives across the board, but can’t help that I have always liked what rough riders bring to the table for the price. They are a guilty pleasure you could say, though I don’t buy them anymore.

(They can’t compare to this fine old schrade cut though. :))

Those both look like nice choices. I'm not re-entering the neverending-box gaw, because I've won twice last year, but you're making it difficult to restrain myself. :D

After a deluge on Sunday, then two days of chilly drizzle, today promises to be glorious. Back to work at our farm for me.
My forum knife and Bullnose backed up by this Browning. I’ve been putting it on my belt fairly often lately, but today it’s riding in my pocket. A gift from my BIL, it’s a good knife.View attachment 1343549View attachment 1343555View attachment 1343547 And newly arrived from his winter vacation in the southern hemisphere, this scarlet tanager showed up yesterday. Sorry for the poor photo!

Nice trio of knives, Jeff. :thumbsup: I don't recall ever seeing that Browning model before, I like the handle shape and blade profile, looks like a perfect fb for all around use. Enjoy the outdoors today, it's been miserably wet lately for sure.:(

My carries for the past two days included this stag handled pen knife stamped B. Svoboda, paired with a larger Kissing Crane yesterday and a smooth as silk HJ-10 today.

That's a very handsome Stockman, GT. Beautiful stag. :cool::thumbsup:

Very well photographed, Dwight. :cool::thumbsup:

Three very collectible pieces... It makes me happy you are willing to use them. :cool::thumbsup:

Your Yellow Copperlock has me wanting to add one to my wish list. :cool::thumbsup:

Tremendous example that German Svoboda (sounds like a Czech name originally so possibly an Austro-Hungarian cutler) a real prize carry :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Went to the dentist today, saw the hygienist and she is a very pleasant young woman who scraped and polish my teeth etc. At the end she says " You know, you have really very good teeth&gums" I perked up (at a methusezala age I'm lucky to have no extractions and very few fillings :)) Before she smirkingly quipped "For your age" :D:cool:

So, decided to carry something whitish today;) Fontenille-Pataud locking Laguiole 9cm

Beautiful collection. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good morning, folks. I'm going with a Kutmaster today, because my regular kitchen can opener is broken.

Such a cool knife Rachel :cool: Why do kitchen can-openers always break?! o_O I've had the same P38 since 1978, and THAT hasn't broken! :rolleyes:

Good morning y’all! I’m carrying two Barlow’s this morning and they’re from two pretty good dudes! ;) Be safe out there! :) :thumbsup:
