What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I am alone in a dream
Time is short it seems'
This star is burning out
Come and carry me through the world'
Come and take my whole life
I see in your eyes'
Things only you and I recognize
You are everything I want'
Everything I need
Carry me through this life
Take my whole life'
Make my sorrow sweet
A thousand kisses deep

Every shell construction Imperial I’ve handled has great snap and smooth action. Good working man’s knife.

Er, working woman’s knife!:p
Perfect for Thrifty Thursday. :D

Three for less than $50.00... Now that IS Thrifty.:thumbsup:

Thrifty can mean different things to different people.:thumbsup:
I generally think of it as low-end budget knives that still have a solid build but no collector value... Just solid "users".

I'm happy to see this catching on.:thumbsup:
Nice example of a Thrifty Thursday Carry, Rachel.

And thrifty can also mean getting the most out of scarce money, as in buying the best you can, and making it last a lifetime, making your own, or getting a smokin deal at the flea market or auction site!

Thanks, Rachel. :)
That big 'ol Sheepsfoot blade is what made me want it.:thumbsup:

My Grandpa handed down a very thrifty Imperial sheepfoot barlow. Sun faded plastic scales and all. I rehandled it with buffalo horn, but the stamped bolsters took a bit of mangling.

Just when I thought last week was a crazy week...then this week started. Very little time to poke around here and have to be up extra early for another hectic day, but here’s what I’ve had with me the last three days. Apparently my subconscious decided it was Barlow week.

3 nice looking Barlows there Jim . I used to start driving into work dreading what I was headed into what was left over from the day before . After 18 miles I always remembered that it Never Was As Bad As I Thought It Would Be . The next 14 miles always went better . Take care my friend and I hope your week is going better for you .

Thank you kindly my friend !!! Dad had cataract surgery and reports..." it's amazing son !!!" back into lockdown ...didn't get to see him:rolleyes: but gotta :)
What I noticed after Cataract surgery was that things that were supposed to be WHITE were much Whiter Than Before . I am very happy for your Dad Gevo . I hope that you get to see him soon my friend .

I guess I missed the day/designator as I'm fortunate to know which day it is! You would do far better than I would against a bear; great trifecta on a budget, very useful too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
