What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm pretty hooked with the courthouse whittler,
I have a lot stress these days because of the work and whittling is a relaxing and stress releasing activity.

Besides I regrind the coping blade for better penetration in the wood. You can see the shine and reflexion on this pic with the rat hunter

What a great piece of whittling, Mateo :) Congratz on these skills. Always, when I see your whittling work - I´m stunned. Keep it going, and show off your work from time to time...

That is a beautiful Canoe Duane!

This little Northwoods moose in cocobolo today, it's a sweet knife:

I though it's about time I showed my often secondary traditional; my Deluxe Tinker...

Looks like the reamer still works! :p

(I have a Deluxe or Super Tinker that's been with me all over...from Alaska and the Canadian Rockies to Yosemite and the Adirondacks. Great knives.)

Reamer or my wife's M36LS, they work all the same! I just can't get her to got out and shoot like when we dated!

That might be a good thing. Depending on how she feels about you these days. ;)

(I always request of my wife that if she ever decides that my time has come, not to do me with my own guns. :p)

Very nice light this morning to take a picture of the #62 with the rat hunter almost finished.
Both little blades have been regrind with a progression of DMT (blue red green) and water stones (1000 3000 8000) then strop to a mirror polish.
The natural patina is ruined but the performance improvement with both the thinner grind and the polish back bevel is huge. Even with 1095 known as tough steel I don't know if I would risk the integrity of the edge cutting hard stuff with this kind of bevel.

Sorry for the little off topic
