Nice work! Your swedge looks very clean. That's some excellent stag on the 44 as well. Given that the clip blade main has good belly, a straight edge secondary makes more sense for modern "box opening" uses.

Mike Moran Eureka Jack in African Blackwood (you knew that was coming) and a brand new Fontenille Pataud Capuchadou (the 10 cm version) in Ebony. The blue medical tape is covering a deep but very clean cut from accidentally closing the Capuchadou on it while I was acquainting myself with it last night (distractedly, as you might assume). It is a lovely knife, and now that it has had a taste of my blood, I don't see it straying very far in hopes of a second bite.

Thanks, guys. Yes, Bruce, it's my Whistle Pig Whisperer. With the relatively large scope and a bull barrel, it's a load to tote, even in short action .243 Win, but it is a laser.

Although I'm not going shooting today, I thought toting this Weidmannsheil folder with 16 and 12 gauge shell pullers on the bolster (to pull stuck shotgun shells from the breech end) might be handy if I come across an orphan bottle of wine.
