What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A trio for Friday: an old Case friend (22087 premium jack, 1965-1969), an old Winchester friend (Model 70 Varmiter, 1961), and a more recent Buck friend (model 119, sometime pre-1986). I'm totin' the knives today, pocket and belt, while the Winchester is just getting a cleaning.

Classy.
I think that would go nicely with a chrome plated, engraved Colt 1911 with pearl handles. For fancy BBQs and such.

Jeff, would this old Colt work? ;)

No pearl handles but I mirror polished this SS Series 1 until it looks chrome plated. Added ambi safety for yours truly lefty. Heavy but a real tack driver … with my dad's knife.

Yes sir. Too heavy for me to carry but fun target shooter. The Colt isn't mine, probably worth more than my house.
My 1911 is a lot of fun to shoot. I carried a full sized one for a while when I was younger. Now it's usually a .38 j-frame. Or even, in my pocket sometimes, a Beretta .25 ACP. (I know it's a "mouse gun", but I bet no one wants eight rounds in the face!)

You are welcome my friend . These old knives just want to prove that they still have some work that they can do . I still have this Old Guy in my pocket even today . It cut the small amount of Asparagus and I just like to have him around .

Take care my friend . Stay safe in this heat .
Harry
Oh, I don’t mind the heat as much as the lack of cool.

I hope you just keep totin the stag hawkbill, cuz I sure like seeing it!

Oh yes, John! That is a BBQ gun.

A bit heavy maybe, but a 1911 is so slim. My favorite way to carry it is in a rigger’s belt with a pistol loop. Tight ‘n snug.
And like Vince, Prester John Prester John said, they sure are fun to shoot.

Chief, the Kimber is grand but the Colt just leaves me speechless. Hope to see that pic bumped a few times every year; I would never get tired of looking at it.

Very good! :D O
Thank you Jack!!!
Morning folks, hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend :) Carrying a large ebony Lambsfoot today, and an Old Friend in the form of a Texas Jack :)

Thank you kindly, JJ. What a cool knife that Winchester is. Great jigging and details on the other. Your compositions, working with all the blades are fabulous.
Thank you very much, Harvey!!!
