I'll declare this Alox Appreciation Day. ;)
Dazzling knives due to their dependability!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

I have a lot of RR knives, but none in the jigged black bone; your sowbelly and copperhead look great!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the kind comment, GT:) Both arrived to me as amber jigged bone versions and I dyed them black. I enjoy experimenting with dyes on bone handled knives and the less expensive the knife the more likely I'll give it a try.;)

A couple of service awards for some of the years I worked for Amoco before they merged with BP. The Seiko hasn’t run in many years and why it has MIE for the day of the week I have no idea. I’m pretty sure that is not what I had it set to. :p The Gerber was carried quite a bit and, as you can tell, was never polished up.

One of my absolute favorite patterns ever was Case Swayback Jack. I was fortunate enough to snag two in CV and I carry a lot of different ones but one of these usually find it’s way back in my pocket.View attachment 1365536
I have a viper with a very similar bone on it. The swayback ergos and wharncliffe blades in knives like these are completely unbeatable imo.

I’m carrying two from Sheffield this morning. I’ve got a William Rodgers Lambsfoot with Horn covers and a Southern & Richardson “Nest Knife” small pruner. It’s covered with Ebony or really densely color Rosewood, I’m still undecided on that detail! Have a great day! :)

Wonderful pair of Sheffield beauties; the "Nest Knife" is a first for me, very cool!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Many thanks JJ, handsome Wooden Wednesday pairing :)
Thank you very much, Jack!!!
Stunning Sheffielders Ron :) Interesting Southern & Richardson, they put 'Nest Knife' on a lot of their blades, irrespective of pattern. I remember going to their old factory, when it was still operating, to get something done. It is still standing today (I have other photos I'll try and remember to edit in later when I find them!)

As is this other old factory of theirs

That's certainly some very interesting pieces of Sheffield history; I'm always enthralled by history, thank you!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I'm quite a fan of Osage Orange covers, but in your pair of wondrous whittlers, I think I prefer the Robeson.:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you Gary!!! That little Robeson is the smallest "split-back" I've come across, so far!
Thank you JJ. I’m already on record as loving that Osage 29. The Robeson whittler is pretty special, too. Fine image.
Thank you kindly, Harvey!!!
