Thanks for the info Jack. Any additional would be appreciated my friend. I am not normally a pruner collector, but this one just spoke to me. I know we don't discuss cost here and that's good, because I would be embarrassed to say how little I gave for this one! ;) I was able to find some interesting info on the company here! I thought it very interesting about their contributions to the war effort and how many of their employees were KIA! I posted a bunch more photos in the "Prune Big or Go Home" thread. Thanks again pal! :)

Still plenty of bargains to be had out there mate ;) I'll try and remember to check out Charlie's Pruner thread, I always enjoy it when that thread resurfaces :) Both World Wars decimated the Sheffield cutlery industry, and in WW1 much of the Sheffield Regiment were wiped out in a single day on the Somme. Cutlers were a 'protected profession', exempt from conscription, so they were all volunteers

Nice pairing Rachel :)

Notable pair of Barlows, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:
I don't recall Barry posting on The Porch for quite some time.

Thanks Gary :) I had some contact with Barry last year, and he had developed a love for the Lambsfoot, but he doesn't post here regularly in the day he once did, sadly :(

I carried these two on my hike today. Green Alox Farmer (Thank you @5K Qs).

Thanks JJ

Since Hammer Brand became Imperial's "thrifty knives" from the mid 1930s to the mid 50s, I'm toting three for Thursday. :)

Thrilling thrifty threesome my friend :)

Good morning! I got a Tidioute #47 Viper with East Indian Rosewood and a Wright's standard Lambsfoot with Pere David Stag this morning. Y'all have a great day! :)

Nuttin!!! I'm not totin nuttin. As you can see, there's nuttin on my board. I'm not going anywhere today except that I might sit on the front porch and watch the traffic go by and watch the wildlife. Yesterday we watched a doe deliver a fawn under a bush right across the road from our house. Of course I've got a couple knives on my desk but they won't get totted today.

Thank you for the nice words, JJ. Three gems, each with its’ own personality. Cool. Fine image.

Just sitting on our Back Porch this morning having some coffee . Half/Stop Half/Stop Ron can relate to where that is . Will just be taking it easy today so I decided to do a little maintenance of recent carries .

Have decided that I will carry these big ones again today .

Harry
Sounds like a relaxing way to spend some time Harry! :)
