I have loved that book since I was a boy Joshua :) Even studying the Greek Classics at school didn't kill it for me! :D

I'm very late posting today, as I've been out hiking. Hope everyone has had a great day. I had these three to hand...

...along with my Watchpocket Barlow, because I left it in my pocket yesterday, and a Vic Farmer in my coat pocket
Thanks Jack. Your lambs are looking well cared for today.

Thanks Jack, it is a Victorinox. I’m sure the other manufacturers of the same knife would work, I just prefer a Victorinox. I have. A couple of red handled ones from their Safari series too. They make a great woods knife.

:D
For Stagurday, I am once again carrying our excellent BladeForums Buck forum knife.

You guys have great taste!:D
I already posted my carries earlier, but after a busy couple of hours harvesting produce for some scheduled and unscheduled pickups, sitting here eating a sandwich with my daughter, and using the Forum Buck to cut a little sausage to share. I had already taken another pic of it because sitting there, turning it over and around, and just generally admiring it, it revealed itself once again as a remarkably handsome knife. And I am not patting myself on the back at all~ we, as a group did a great job designing this one.View attachment 1367223The new #10 Opi in Inox is working well at the job I bought it for ~ harvesting big handfuls of greens in one clean swipe, the razor sharp thin grind is typically great Opi, and being stainless is ideal for commercial food handling and sanitizing.

GAK ~ German Army Knife?
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost pulled the trigger on one of those. Very cool.
The only thing holding me back is my Wenger Canyon has a saw blade...

My friend Harry Old Engineer Old Engineer sort of, in a nice way, hinted that my plate of fried seafood I had yesterday might not be good for me! ;) He’s a very good friend! So today I decided to have grilled fish and scallops with green beans and a baked potato! It was just as good my friend! :D

I like seafood, but scallops.......they're like fish candy! :) Sort of like bacon is meat candy.

Nice trio. Glad you were able to go hiking, Jack.

LOL! I'd only just eaten when I posted that too! :D

Thanks a lot Harvey, it was nice to get out, despite the poor weather today

Had these in my pockets while I was mowing the lawn .
Then I remembered that it was Saturday and thought that I should have some Stag , but I had that base covered . Then I thought of my very First Stag Knife and the many places that I have carried it . I now have the First and Last Stag knife that I have bought in my pocket

Then I remembered that exactly 10 years ago Nancy and I and our entire family were in Scotland and had rented the Ardrhu House plus the Coach and Gardeners houses with it while we were celebrating our then upcoming 50th Anniversary . While there , I was carrying the small Case Stag .

One of the sites over there was the Falkirk Wheel . It moves boats from one Canal either up or down to another canal .

We helped make a lot of Memories on that trip.

Harry
