Wow! That doesn’t look like much fun. Hope everything heals up properly and soon.

Yikes, you took quite a swing at the parsley with that thing! Hope it heals soon!

Thanks very much. Lessons learned:
1. Don't drink and garden.
2. Get those stitches right away.

I'll be fine, but it would have been better to have gone to the ER sooner. And always cut away from yourself!

I remember hearing: "¡Apaga la luz!" ("Turn off the light!" If I left a room without turning off the light.)

I could live with that, even in English. What I really didn’t want to hear was

“This is going to hurt me a lot more than you”.

Great Bowie knife!
Super Buck!
Last night’s parsley and gardening mishap proved expensive.

Oh man! I hope it’s a mere flesh wound, and no tendons!
BTW, I know you grow parsley, but yesterday’s photo had me fooled~ thought it was cilantro.

I don’t drink alcohol, so won’t comment on that, but you’re supposed to pull the weeds, root and all ~ not cut them!:D

They did take X-rays, and just bandaged me up and gave me a tetanus shot, so I think I'm okay. In retrospect, I was actually cutting the flowering tops off of the parsley...and not very focused. Thanks for your thoughts, and congratulations on your new 77OT!

Thought I'd go with this early GEC 23 iteration as I've seen so many cool versions, lately!:thumbsup:
Thank you JJ. The knife, shield, and jigging are spectacular. Great photo.

I was looking through some penknives last night, and marvelling at this lovely Ulster, gifted to me by my dear friend @herder a while ago.
That’s a pretty thing, Jack.

Thanks, Harvey. :)
Your brace of Barlows is outstanding!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thank you GT.:)

I'm grateful to you for posting that, Harvey. :)
And I meant it.:)

Last night’s parsley and gardening mishap proved expensive.
Hope you heal quickly, Dave.
