What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I can certainly see why... that O.O. 29 is one of my favorites, and I really like my tribal, even though it's black synthetic.... it IS CV, though....:)
Is your tribal sycamore? Or something else..?

Thanks so much. Yes, it is sycamore. I’ve always love this pattern. It’s a substantial knife but very light and easy to carry. Have a great one!

I didn't really need one either. I finally bit because of the lingering impression on me of their creation myth, the fact that they were about half the price I'd thought, and our shared birth year.

All good reasons Jer :) I forget how I first came across them now. The flat-ground Boat Knife interested me most of all, but their standard pattern is very intriguing

Thank you, Jack. I see you are also carrying Charlie's excellent designs too. :):D:thumbsup:

That feller never fails to hit it out of the park ;) :D

Gotta save that rare barbed wire! :D
Thank you very much Jack!!!

Those two from Waynorth certainly make a handsome couple; very cool totes for today!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

A couple of French models wearing wood for my totes today. :)

Not exactly endangered is it? :D My maternal grandfather was a wire-weaver by trade, one that I imagine has disappeared now. He saw plenty of barbed-wire during WW2 too! ;)

Thank you very much my friend, I hope you're having a great day with those two French beauties :)

It may be fully automated these days, certainly on the scale your grandfather worked. One of the few areas wire is hand wound or weaved is in the more esoteric audio manufacture, for transformers, etc.; Audio Note (British) comes to mind. I'm a huge fan of British audio (like the famous Tannoy, Bower & Wilkins and the BBC patent LS3/5As, to name a few.) :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thank you so much, Jack!!! The French duo are perfect for today's food fix'n.:)

Loaded up on different knives for the week on Monday, but I haven't posted any of them here yet. :(

Vic Farmer is my Alox of the Week (thanks, Tom):

I carried this newly finished tl-29 today. I had a little time to kill at work so I threw a fly in the irrigation pond and pulled out this guy. The knife had nothing to do with it, I just put it in the picture because...why not?

I know they're small but that's a lotta arn to be packin' in one day.

Technically it's third from the left (or fourth from the right), but the alternating title of Farmboy & Day's Work sounded better. :p:D

I'm just carryin' one today!!;) (This Bear is watching a Bull market in Silver!! Wish I had a bunch!! Sell High!!)
Nice collection, Guest!!;) You must have a lotta pockets!!:DView attachment 1387473 View attachment 1387474 View attachment 1387475
