Today I have this large Eye Witness lambfoot that came with broken gumfuddy scales, re-done in a piece of walnut I had hoarded for years.
The Schrade Walden 163 is also wearing walnut.
Have a wild Wednesday, with or without walnut wood!View attachment 1392199View attachment 1392200
Thanks,Jon. Have to confess your flamy mesquite reminded me to tote that!I’m a sucker for some flamey walnut. Great upgrade choice on that one!
Those blades are really almost the same.
Nice to see our mutual favorite GEC model.
That really dressed up nicely.
Great wooden pair, Ron.
Yes. I thought the clip was my favorite blade shape, but I like the straight-back blade of the Thiers knife just as much. The spine of the Thiers is not perfectly straight--there is a subtle curve. Those blades are really almost the same.![]()
Good luck, John.
Thanks, Vince.Good luck, John.
Thank you, Jon.Praying for you John as you return to the classroom!
I just do what I'm told.I can imagine that it is not easy navigating the COVID realities as a teacher.
Thanks again, Jon.And...very classy pairing today![]()
