Thanks Jack! Nice pair of knives you have today. It is a shame they hit you so hard on the knives you get from the U.S. but with the exchange rates and shipping and handling charges the stag Lambfoot I got from Sheffield was quite a bit more than you could get one for over there. I wanted it so that made it worth it. :p Here is the horn handled Lambfoot I got here in the States.

Thanks a lot Les :) Yeah, hard to escape too, even gifts worth more than about $20 coming into the country incur tax, import charges, and 'handling fees' o_O Yes, I think some vendors over here bump up the shipping fees more than they should, but postal rates are pretty expensive anyway :( Nice Stateside find my friend :)

Not here fortunately, it's a pre-war (1939) red brick house rather cold in winter and keeping freshness in hot days. What is insulation? :D

Nice JP :) Stone and brick on my street, high ceilings and slate roofs. South facing, so one side of the house can get a bit too hot at times, but generally OK. A few houses on the street seem to be colder inside in winter than outdoors though! Not mine though, which has a tropical micro-climate ;) :D

For "light as a feather Friday," an Opinel #8 Slim in Bubinga (1.0 oz.) and an Artisan Biome (1.4 oz. and just 8 mm thick). :)

My usual 550 cord won't go through the Biome's lovely little hidden lanyard loop (not even gutted!), so I'm going to have to try some 95 or micro cord before that little guy will have his fob. ;)

My boys and I have been taking care of our neighbor’s 12 chickens this week while they’ve been out of town. A sudden downpour with heavy winds landed for twenty minutes and blew the coop to bits. We gathered up a makeshift coop and rustled them in until the neighbors return tomorrow to decide what to do. Thankfully all the chickens survived. Now it’s time to grill.

Just got my 6208CV in and it's the knife I've been waiting for , I'll be carrying it for I don't know how long though probably the whole month I'm sure
Theres no telling how long it'll stay in my pocket, but I don't really plan for any one knife to displace all others like this one easily could.

I will probably post patina updates here and there but that's about it.
