What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Vandal, thank you so much. It always means a lot getting praise from this group. I've been a little down and away from the forums. My 85 in pocket. Doctors today for infected tonsils and throat, possibly a tumor. Hurray.

K. that doesn't sound fun, I hope you feel better soon

I am sorry to hear that Kevin, wishing you all the best

now in your best Schwarzenegger voice "ITS NOT A TUMOR"!!!

Hey Kevin, please feel better buddy, get well soon!

Thanks guys :). Ryan they say laughter is the best medicine! Thanks. That and knife pictures you all post. Heal me with knife pictures. :)

^I had the Brantford today. I want to find a way to make a usable nail nick, the spring is now weak enough to where it can almost open it; if it was even a couple millimeters deeper, I could get it open. It stinks having a knife that has a secondary blade that you cannot even use! Ah well, I love it though!

oh good, that's what i meant
but i have been sitting around awhile wondering if the gist came across over the internet. It was SUPPOSED to make you laugh, but i was afraid folks would think it was tasteless

I am glad you received that in the spirit it was meant!

and since you requested pics..who am i to argue

This is an amazing photo...truly, I have sat here for the past 20 min or so just in awe of it.

Me too. I have to say, those GEC knives really are something else, and there are some great photos on this thread. We have some great photographers here with some truly amazing knives :)

Hello Gevonovich,

It's called a helix pattern, though I didn't make it. One of my Scouts gave me lanyards this past summer as a thank you (cool gift!) and that one is my favorite.

Cheers,
Griff

Nice to know you're appreciated :)

Kevin, very sorry to hear you're unwell. Hope you'll be better soon. Will try and post some of my rotten pics later! :)

Going to show my pal's 4 year old how to light a fire in the woods today, so I've called in the Swiss Army! :)

Might take a FB with me too.

GEC #73 and a Vic Harvester (pruner blade instead of the can opener, other tools are the same as on the Pioneer)
