I've owned a few and never took to them for one reason or another.
It struck me the other day, it's because I dislike EZ Open notches and the little size didn't feel right for a Barlow.
If I had started with one as nice as yours, simple and beautiful, I'd probably still have it.
Really nice example you have.![]()
I think it's the round bolsters that don't look right on a Barlow.Do you think it’s the thick/stumpy proportions that you dislike about the #25 Barlow?

My first picture posted is my Laguiole Le Pocket (10,5 cm) from Fontenille Pataud with Juniper Wood

Interesting shape! I like the symmetry when closed.![]()
I'm not a big fan of spey blades, but that is a very nice-looking knife.![]()
The knives that I don't use will eventually be sold for one reason or another but primarily because I don't use them. If that makes any sense?Whew! Glad you came to your senses there at the end!![]()
Beautiful photo of two very nice knives!
Looks like a great knife! This is the only multi blade knife I’ve carried (except for a SAK) in a very long time. I didn’t even know it had carbon steel blades. The patina was a hint. Hahaha Now to try and get the clip sharp. Sharpening is not one of my strong points no matter how much I try.View attachment 1411490
