What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Labor Day working person's knives to salute all those working dignified jobs. First real job besides hustling to mow yards / pick up pop bottles, wash in a restaurant washing dishes. When not busy peeled potatoes, made french fries, cut up chickens, made tubs of salad. If the normal weekend busboy was off, lucky for me as I got to bus tables, cleaner work, $1.45 per hour and glad to get it. Late in my HS sophomore year got hired full time at a truck stop, pumping ethel, diesel, propane, oil, belts, hoses, fixing 18 wheeler flats, washing interstate bugged up windshields, cleaning the entire place for the grand total of $1.60 per hour. Before federal tax, state tax, and social security. Hot work in the summer. Also had a few months as a laborer on the Rock Island railroad before getting laid off and going in the US Air Force. Have a great day!

Not sure what model, but I just cleaned up an old, OldTimer:

Really nice so far, all the blades sharpened up well. I also like how the blades have that “old feel” to them - sort of a “Stonewash” you could say? ;)

Happy birthday Half/Stop Half/Stop !

Anyone know what model of OldTimer that is? ^^

Looks like a 108OT Junior Stockman to me (is it 2-7/8” long?). That would be about right. OH

I thought I’d drop in for a quick visit. I hope y’all are doing well. I’ve been celebrating my birthday today with my family. Lots of food and a little relaxing for the old man. ;) In the pocket I’ve had a wee Sambar Lambsfoot that I got from my good friend Jack Jack Black Jack Black and my Micarta TC Forum knife. Y’all stay safe out there! :)

Pocket Buck (the 55) - What a beauty! Beautiful ebony scales, perfectly fitted and flush. Seems to fit my watch pocket perfectly. I had to take a pic before the brass starts to stain up! :)
The secret is to rub that brass with your thumb. Even better if you can do it in an absentminded kind of way while thinking deep thoughts.
Now about breaking in those new boots...

1971 Case model 6392. Happy Labor Day!

Mail Call...!
And another beauty! Happy mail call for you.

Starting out the week with a couple of Wengers, including the 57 soldier. :)
Couple of great Wengers, JJ!

Terrific Tuesday carry the best fill in known to mankind and mankind alike . I absolutely love this knife and fit finish is beyond my expectations of a production knife and exceeds some customs I’ve owned.
Thank you Gec for another phenomenal knife that I’m enjoying immensely.
