What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Staying home today, working at my desk (waiting on my eyes to "normalize" after having a cataract removed yesterday). Think I will join the bareheaded jackknife crowd today with this L.F.&C. OH

I like the bareheads, too. This is a Walden Knife Co., probably before 1903 when EC Simmons bought them.

Right there with ya, Rachel.:thumbsup:

Gorgeous!
A fine showing of jacks today.

I’m carrying two today that rarely see pocket time! Both are fine knives in their own right. I’ve got a Thrifty Thursday Frost Whittler from the early years made in Japan. I’ve also got a Rosewood Lambsfoot SFO that was made in Sheffield for a UK dealer. I’m about 99.99% sure the Lambsfoot was made by Wright’s. Y’all stay safe out there! :)

Spending Thursday at a friend’s lake cabin. Relaxing this morning sharpening up these two. Have a great one!

I’m jealous Jon! What a great way to spend a day! I hope you have great weather and a relaxing day! :)

Vintage Case Texas Jack
John that 6292 Texas Jack is a great knife. It’s really a shame that Case discontinued the 6292 and 6392. Both were terrific 4” sized folders! :)

Nice wood on the Leguiole - Juniper?
Yes it is Juniper, this knife is a prime example of unused knives at estate sales or secondary market. I bought this knife in France 20 or so years ago for my dad......10 or so years later he gave it back to me unused haha so I guess lucky me I bought a nice knife for him. The Juniper is still fragrant all these years later.
