What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

You got it, Vince! It is El Greco's View of Toledo. It is a custom one-off that French maker Roland Lannier did for me upon request. The model is his "Spring Heeled Jack." He used resin and layers of paper along with the pages I sent him of the El Greco from an art book I own. The knife has carbon fiber liners, the resin covers, and the back spring is a piece of g10 sandwhiched between stainless steel. It is extremely light for a knife that is about 4.5" in handle length. The blade is a drop point in 14c27N and flat ground to an extremely thin edge. I can't find a picture of mine open, so here's a photo of one of Roland's own models (from his website), using pages from a comic book:

He did a fine job. Never heard of 14C27n steel. I have a couple of 14C28n and one 13c26n. And I have heard of 12C27n. I think the 14C28n is the upgrade. Very nice steel.

14C28N is correct. I had it wrong. Not the first mistake I've made this week!

A bit of a holy grail there.
Schrade 293 in KK disguise, right?
The screwdriver blade on my TL-29 came in handy quite a bit today - servicing surface mount part feeders. I also have my case peanut in my pocket.

Does anyone know who might have made this knife? The stamp is mostly worn away, but maybe someone recognizes what's left. I see POY (maybe ROY)....USA.

Perhaps the Royal Knife Company?
That "P" could be an "R" that's worn away and the fourth letter looks like an "A".
I think John’s right.
Follow this link, and scroll down a few posts and there’s a photo of your knife’s twin sister.
