What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got harvest wrapped up. On to some fall spraying which means a no nonsense knife around the corrosive chemicals. Extra care is taken ;)

Fine looking Stockman Gary !

I have this silky smooth and svelte Cattaraugus ‘lectrician on me today, and in the interest of old friends from Little Valley, my only other Catt is on my belt.
The 225Q was an auction find from back in the ‘80s. It lived in a tool box inside a sheath made from cardboard and duct tape.
A couple of years ago, I undertook the tedious but hypnotic job of restoring it. Primarily polishing out all of the damage done by an imbecile armed with a bench grinder. Also removed splatters of paint from the leather handle, and peened that all nice and tight as it should be.
Finished with a forced patina with hot apple cider vinegar, and a new sheath.
A beast of a knife.View attachment 1449988View attachment 1449989
