Good afternoon! I've had these two in my pocket today. Y'all stay safe out there! :)

Great photos Dean

Thanks for the info, Jack! I was looking around on their website, and saw that they offered a full flat grind option, which is what I’d go for, as well. Personally, I like the black coated blade (that was always my preference with modern knives).

They do a couple of black finishes Barrett, mine is a 'blackwashed' finish, and they also do them with a DLC coating

Thanks a lot Jack!!! It would have been nice as Wenger had several interesting models; it's now a Swiss cutlery monoculture. o_O

The closest Schrade I've seen to a lambsfoot; combined with your HHB they make a handsome couple!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Many years ago, Wenger asked me to do a side by side review of their Major versus the Vic Swiss Champ. Victorinox UK, who I knew very well at the time, weren't at all keen, so Wenger not only supplied me with a Wenger Major, they went out and bought a Vic Swiss Champ. I was impressed with the confidence they had in their products

Thank you my friend :)

Toting my two favorite trappers today. :)

What a pair of beauties! :)

Alox Knife of the Week is a Vic Electrician (thanks, Greg), my first ever Alox knife and probably still my favorite Alox model:

My non-Alox SAK of the Week is a Recruit tuned for whittling (thanks to a different Greg):

Bailed non-SAK of the Week is an Imperial BSA knife (thanks, Paul):

International Knife of the Week is a big Joker with olive handles that I bought in Valencia, Spain almost 6 years ago:

Have to use some Old Pics on this very wild day . The electric has finally been turned back on after heavy rains and 75 MPH winds as well as a 30 F drop in 4 to 5 hours .
