What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Good luck to you on the hunt! Take several Buck Knives for skinning and butchering - they are lucky knives for hunting! OH
Thanks OH. I have a nice fixed blade that my old college professor made. That will be used for field dressing, skinning, and butchering if I'm lucky. I'm still a bit undecided about what will cover any other knife duties. I might have to bring a few along.

Today with this little GEC # 25 EO in stag.;)

Cool, I have one of those from 2009, same year?

Happy Veteran's Day (yesterday but still feeling patriotic) and thanks to those who have served to protect freedom everywhere. The beautiful bone and thinner grind of the New Jacks from @waynorth 's Diamond Jack make them the 48 for me. Thanks @Luger1952 for this fine example.

that’s a beautiful knife chief

Elegant simplicity on those stallion, I was on the verge of deleting the warncliffe from the forum knife, but thought it would be a crime. So I sold it to a member

Took these two out today.

Really nice pair and beautiful pic

nice carries guys, today my case stockman from the 60’s helped me clean some doves for dinner but I don’t have pics, of the feathery mess ;)

It is an old photo (from last year, I believe), but it does accurately reflect the current snow situation. We got a few inches Tuesday night. It’s snowing more now, as a matter of fact. :D

Keep the snow there Barrett:eek: I talked to my brother and a friend today in the cities and they said the same...and Oh how I was disappointed we weren't getting any:D;) Hope your all well:thumbsup:

I'm carrying this TC Barlow today.

A beauty Dean, even with the blade closed I can see a nice patina to compliment the grace of the jigged bone:cool::thumbsup:

Barlow and a viper for me today.

I agree with Ron's comment earlier, beautiful jigged duo right there:)

:)
Up earlyish heading into town today for an appointment with the eye doctor and then another eating spree at the Wagon Wheel Cafe after which, a run on the Holiday Market for grocery shopping. I'll be totin my fancy dancy Case Sod Buster Jr.

I sure hope the missus goes with you on these trips.
Starting to wonder if there’s a cute lil waitress at the Wagon Wheel!
Or maybe you just like their food.;)

And Ed, that sure is a handsome jr. Gorgeous bone.

That’s funny, Paul, I was just wondering earlier if you’d had a chance to use your new snowblower. It was right about the time Eleanor and I finished shoveling snow the old fashioned way. ;) :D

Thank you, Jack!!!

Love that classic hiking graphic under your HHB; great pairing with that cool BB Winchester Moose, too!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks JJ, I can never resist buying old books like that :)

Toting a couple scouts today, an old Pal and a thrifty Imperial Hammer. :)

Stunning Scouts my friend :)

Looks like I've got multi quotes going back to Halloween; my life is getting frightening!:rolleyes:
Features are always better than flaws, Gary, especially in domestic discussions. :D Thank you for your information on your family jackknives. Sounds like you had a quiet upbringing (meaning not big city).

Thank you for your insight on the Okapi. I like the Chestnut CV series, too.
...
I always appreciate your comments, Dean. :)

Another day with the new knife I definitely see more sod busters in the future.
Now I understand.
super sunkin pins, shaggy shield and all.

That bonestag SBJr is stunning!:thumbsup::cool:

5K Qs 5K Qs ~ appreciate the comments, my friend. Now a word of caution: the phrase “features not flaws” ? In a Domestic Context?
Sure! What could possibly go wrong?o_O
Jeff, both my wife and I found your dog photo and comment hilarious! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for the advice about domestic harmony, but "Danger" is my middle name! ;)

Terrific threesome, Gary; beautiful shot of your lambsfoot, love that ebony!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for your encouragement, JJ. :)

...
Tip-top trio GT :)

Hope everyone has a good week, stay safe out there :) Starting mine off with my Hartshead Barlow and Charlie's Black Jack :)
...
Thanks, Jack. Your pair are also chart-toppers!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Good choice for this week, Gary.:):thumbsup:
Thanks, José. :)

Canoe in Micarta for Monday.

Captivating canoe! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

...
If you don't find all the tools handy, you could always throw it at squirrels. ;)

Extra special that it's your first knife.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Thanks, John. :) I haven't thrown anything since March; I think if I started throwing that big Vic Champion around, I'd throw out my shoulder too!:(
I bought a well-preserved Imperial Kamp King in early March as a "substitute" for my Forest-Master so that I wouldn't carry my first knife and risk losing it. But I enjoy carrying that old knife from my youth too much to take it out of the rotation schedule.

...
Nice photos Gary :) I think I bought one of those Cracked Ice Imperials after admiring yours in the past, I'll have it somewhere :D :)
...
Wishing everyone a safe and happy day :) Carrying an large Lambsfoot SFO in bagpipe ebony, and an Old Friend in the form of Charlie's outstanding Ancient Barlow :)
...
Thanks, Jack. :) Glad I could be an inspiration to someone during my "golden years".;)
That big ebony lambsfoot is enviable, and the scratted bone Ancient is an iconic TC!:cool::thumbsup:

Fine looking Stockman Gary !
Good group, Gary. I must say again that your Humpback Stockman is the cat's pajamas.:D
...
Thanks, Steve and Dean. :) I'm really fond of that Case Humpback with the spear main instead of a clip.

Terrific trio Gary, I'm really liking your new rotation
...
Thanks, Jack. :) Starting a new rotation is nice because I "front load" it with favorites in each category so that as I cycle through the categories my favorites will eventually show up more frequently than less-favored knives.

...
Your 72 looks great with the lanyard, Gary.:thumbsup:
...
Thanks, Dean. :) I should find some time to learn to make lanyards/fobs for many of my knives that allow their use.

I carried this Case mini muskrat on today's walk in the park.
