Or maybe just French fries. I think you call them "chips." My favourite vegetable!
The GEC #48 with a full clip blade was a real winner.![]()
That TEW Lambsfoot is wonderful Mr. Fleschwund, and your garden is outstanding to see.
Yes it was John! Thanks! The GEC #48 with a full clip blade was a real winner.![]()
Thank you Jack!Attractive pairing Ron![]()
You’re welcome my friend!I concur. Not cheap, unfortunately!
I have read that the GEC 48 was inspired by/ a tribute to the Schrade Walden 124 ~ the single blade version of the 293/294. And the 48 certainly shares the frame contours of the Schrade 124, 293, 294, 94, and 194.
Where GEC really hit a home run was in using that full clip instead if the slimmer blades on the Schrades.
Half/Stop ~ thanks for showing that 48!
Or maybe just French fries. I think you call them "chips." My favourite vegetable!
Options are usually a good thing. I really like that trapper.Might be I have an excessive number of blade options today...

Have a great Thursday all. Almost the weekend again![]()
I agree John, top notch 48 and cuts "like the dickens" great photo as usualHappy Veteran's Day (yesterday but still feeling patriotic) and thanks to those who have served to protect freedom everywhere. The beautiful bone and thinner grind of the New Jacks from @waynorth 's Diamond Jack make them the 48 for me. Thanks @Luger1952 for this fine example.

Thanks Barrett!By that being an old photo does it mean that you do or don't have the white stuff yet?
Either way the #21 is one heck of a work knife!

Last day of work for me before I go deer hunting.
It is an old photo (from last year, I believe), but it does accurately reflect the current snow situation. We got a few inches Tuesday night. It’s snowing more now, as a matter of fact.![]()
Thank you, Jack!!!Thank you very much JJ, I always enjoy seeing that pairing![]()
