What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Camillus and a Schrade Cutco

Carrying 3 old Barlows that I have not carried for quite a while. Camillus , Boker , & Keen Kutter . Camillus has Bone covers and the others have Delrin covers. Looks like I need to clean the Camillus up a little though .

The Boker 492 and the Keen Kutter 882 have been used much less than the Camillus 11 and the Boker may have been Never Carried .

Harry

Wonderful trio! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well Max, that Soldier is not official Control equipment. You'll have to turn it over to the proper authority. (Signed, the Proper Authority). :D

Great looking soldier, Gary! :thumbsup::thumbsup: My oldest on is a 91 (which makes me closer to 99 than you ;):D).

Nice pair Jeff, I almost carried the same two today :)

Thanks, my friend. I know you have that same pair.
Mind if I ask how long you’ve had the Voos? I was watching one on the auction site a month or two ago. I did not bid, but was sorely tempted. After seeing the one you’ve shown a couple of times, I’ve been hoping you’re the one who got it, because it looked close to mint (and much like yours).

Between your Camillus serpentine jack, and the Schrade versions in the Elusive Schrades thread, I realized how much I love that pattern.
In fact I was hemming and hawing over one when that Voos auction ended.

edit: I think I’ll tote the 124 tomorrow.:rolleyes:

That is a great Heartland Trapper Joey, SVTFreak SVTFreak . It is one of GEC’s greatest knives ever in my opinion. I have the ebony version. BTW, what does Bobby think of GEC knives?

I have to agree. One of the best single blades I’ve ever handled. He has a few he picked up once, but he’s not much of a new production knife person. Old knives, especially Remington’s, are really his love. Followed by the customs. He’s got a soft spot for 1306’s.

I got both it and the Camillus that I toted today back in August :D

Handy Dandy Scout, Jack. :cool::thumbsup:

For today... a Jack Black SFO Lamb and a Case Small Texas Jack

Thanks buddy, nice pairing :) :thumbsup:

A burly BSA scout is always a great companion slicer; very cool "fire rope" with you Hartshead Barlow, too!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you JJ, I replaced the smouldering wick in a rope-lighter with waxed jute twine. It works pretty well :thumbsup:

A couple of my favorite GECs for my Tuesday totes. :)

Two beautiful knives my friend :) :thumbsup:

Having a Double Lambsfoot Day today ;) :D :thumbsup:

Thanks, Dean. :)
Since my wife is sitting right here, I refuse to discuss the alluring Agent 99 without use of the Cone of Silence! :D

As per usual, my weekly carry includes a couple of stockman knives and a couple of canoes.
