:eek: Is that a Copperhead skin?? I often wonder how people go out walking at night when there are really venomous snakes around ?o_O

We only have one venomous snake here, Common Viper and it's smallish & timid- my Cat loves killing them, danger freak  How they survive our eternal winter I never know....

Great Bone on that Copperhead CASE

    Thanks, Will

I could fasten my jaws onto that, Madam Spyder, looks really delicious:thumbsup:

How come that 14(?) has brass pins and whitemetal ones? Or is it a light thing?

    Regards, Will

Sticking with XX Red Bone as we ease into the weekend.

@Will Power , that could be Copperhead skin. We have lots of them. It could also be something worse, Cottonmouth Water Moccasin! We have lots of them as well, and they are much more aggressive.

And Will, you really should come up with a better name for your snake. Common viper sounds soft, especially if your cat can kill them so easily. How about calling them the Finnish Death Slinger? That might strengthen their resolve.

Louisiana rivals Australia in the number of creepy crawlies that can kill you! That alligator was living in a friend’s lake not far from my house.

Thanks, Paul. I looked at his knives for quite awhile before I finally gave in and contacted him to make this. His blades are striking IMO and the knives themselves are artistically done.

Leaving the house a bit later today and had time to snap a pic of todays carry, will have these two in my pocket. An older Robeson sleeveboard pen knife with very nice jigged bone and a new Boker with ironwood covers.

Thanks Gary. Today it's time for something different...

Not teaching today, so decided on a fire this morning... that little nest goes into the pile in the outdoor fireplace. Have a good one, everybody.

Thanks. They complement each other nicely, and don't weigh much...a pretty good pair, I think.

I like this pair- lots of function, and in my eyes, beauty. Blue camel bone is hard to beat for me.
