Repairing a friend's hollow door they knocked a hole in, cut a "key" for the filler.

Not fancy, but a great tool. Probably my favorite punch. Does anyone understand the meaning of that shield? I have never thought of hammering a knife through a nail! I bet @Old Hunter can explain its meaning and origins!

There used to be a very nice man on the Porch who loved these old Buck stockman knives, but he just disappeared. I cannot remember his avatar name, but I believe it started with a C. I have been worried about him. He just stopped posting. Does anyone know who he is? - (EDIT, thank you A akaMatt and r8shell r8shell for the UPDATE on Clay. I hope he has found peace with his decision. He certainly could not have found a better person to trust his remaining collection to than Rachel.)

I hate it when people vanish, as did Randy Redden, @r redden . Anyone stay in contact with Randy? I believe he is okay and just left because he grew weary of some trivial silliness. I miss his enthusiasm and admired his tenacity in the face of a lot of adversity. He is a good guy. I hope you come back Randy.

That’s a nice knife, and I also think those punches are cool, although I don’t own any like that. Are you thinking of CHNeal, maybe? I remember he used to post a lot of nice Buck knives. Last I remember he may have been taking a break to focus more on family and other such things. Then he sold off a lot of his knives on the exchange to help out a friend who had fallen on some hard times last summer. Seemed like a really good guy. Not sure his current status.

Had the scooter out today rayof.gif
I like a nice slim knife in my pocket when I'm on the bike. In the event I ever hit the deck, I'd rather not have something hard and thick to create a point of impact

Those look cool Rachel, and thrifty! :D
Thanks, guys. Made of scrap pine and soda cans I suspect, but when sharpened, they cut paper very well.

Last summer, @CHNeal decided to take a step back. I hope all is well with him.

I am currently honored to be the keeper of his "misfit" collection.

I beleive back in the day Buck use to promote their 440c to be able to cut through a bolt. Thus the knife bolt hammer emblem or something like that
