They say politicians are really lizard people, but I think that’s a disservice to lizards. And Bearded Dragons:D
A trip to the feed store for some lawn and garden stuff. Figured a farmers knife was adequate.

Truly a do-it-all knife. And that’s a real nice 881!

Nice looking knife, and great photo. It’s amazing what you see from down on your knees.

Ha! Totally agreed... beardies are great. This one is pretty interactive--she (we think) regards my son and I when we walk up to the tank, and likes to be handled. It's likely about us being her food source, but there seems to be a simple and reliable relationship there... which cannot be said about a politician ;)

Thank you. Good idea, I'll work on that.

It would be a great resource

Useful combination of blades.
I chose my knives before bed last night, so even accounting for the six hour time warp, I did NOT copy you!:D

Looks like you’re going to let that one stick around...;)

A.Wright, a gift from @Old Engineer :), and a Camillus BSA 72. And some bearded iris making a welcome return.
These came from Grandma.View attachment 1525643

LOL! :D Great choice Jeff ;) :)

Your stick is all bite, no bark, Jack; looking good!;)

...

Jack, I think Marttiini have discontinued that specific model, but there are a couple of other inexpensive models of theirs that still attract me.:cool::thumbsup:

Your AC (Abolish Covid??) looks in fine fettle! ;):cool:
I think I've taken more steps this year than in any year of my life, so perhaps I should look into walking the Barratt way! :D

Thanks Gary, I'm not sure how I'm going to finish that one yet. It's the first one I've taken the bark off

Thanks pal! :D Good for you, I hope you can keep it up :) I've been suffering with my feet again recently, but trying to keep going

Jack Black Jack Black might just as well start his 2021 knife of the year thread :) , because I already know which one it will be

Just got this beautiful Masserin Plow in the mail from our generous friend @Reaper AL .
Thank you so much Al !!!

The snow is retreating, spring is coming, and this knife brings with it the promise and hope of many adventures to come.

Great stuff! :) @ReaperAL is such a kind and thoughtful guy :)

Thank you very muck, Jack!!! :D

What a cool partner the Camillus Whittler Scout makes with your Waynorth Lamb; I'm a big fan of the old Scout knives!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Put a couple of my favorites in my pocket today, a CJ Barlow slicer and a tough old Remington Scout. :)

Thanks JJ, me too, and you have some beauties, not least that wonderful Remington Scout, which pairs perfectly with your CJ Barlow  :)

Have a great weekend everyone :) Stag for Saturday! ;)

Thanks! I melted down some crayons on the radiator and made that happen!

Seriously though, I bought the trapper on a whim - just like the burnt sienna 29 - and I absolutely love both of those knives. Well made neat to fondle and to look at and the both cut very well.
