Very Kool! Awesome writers of a great story. I’m a second gen’er born and raised in Canada. I speak it fluently, yet reading and writing it were somewhat lost a while ago. I can get by, but as they say use it or loose it.
** oh, one of my grandmother’s maiden name was “Sideras” somewhat made of steel!

that’s great! Good to know there is another Greek among us! And yes, the name is a variation on the work for steel. Very cool indeed!

A trip to Norway would be fun!
Except... I don't fly... Scares the livin' heck outta me.

Thanks for the compliment on my photos as well. A big part of the reason that I joined here was to force myself to take photos of subjects that I don't usually photograph (my knives) and with limited gear (my phone). I'm hoping that it will give a little boost to my creativity.
Well keep it up, I'm really enjoying them.:thumbsup:

What is his area of study?
He is studying Physics with an emphasis in Quantum Computing.

How did it come about that he speaks Norwegian, if you don't mind my asking?
His Grandmother, my Mother-in-Law, came from Norway. He finds languages super easy. I told him he should have studied languages because he's got a gift for it. He studied ASL, and taught himself Latin, Japanese, Norwegian, Esperanto, and some Italian. I can't hardly speak English worth a darn.

Nice carries John !!!! Enjoy the time with your Son !!! We used to enjoy those times with our kids 30 to 40 years ago . Now it is when their kids come with their kids to visit . It is all about making memories my friend .
Thank you, Harry. :)
Seems kids are what makes life worth living and occupy such a huge part of our memories.:thumbsup:

Well, I'm sure you've heard all that can be said on the subject. I've been flying for 50 years. It hasn't hurt me yet. I do hate all the rigmarole involved though.
Sounds like your son best plan on making trips home.:)
I always love it when you post that beauty.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks! It's one of my favorites too!
