For now :), thanks! Much appreciated

Awesome orange, Tom, and congrats on the TWO incoming Farmer Xs!:cool::cool:

Your stag sowbelly is an absolute stunner, Tom!!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks GT! The Farmer X's arrived and I am really liking it. I think it will supplant my Pioneer X. Paired with a small fixed blade it may be my favorite combination I have tried so far.

My father in law had the 1st HP pocket scientific, the HP-35, he let me try it out and I was sold, although I had to get used to the RPN it used. I think the HPs were selling for around 400, which was too rich for my blood. I bought the TI SR-50 for 150 or so, and I still had to think about how bad I wanted one.
I was in the BSEE program at Syracuse U. (thanks to the GI Bill) at the time and it really came in handy, although I had a few professors that would only allow us to use slide rules on tests.
I used that thing for years and years.
Fun times! ;) I've spent way more money than I should have over the years just to "upgrade" my calculator to a "way cooler" model.

Happy Spring!
Fun to see pics like that, Jeff!:thumbsup::cool: (Even though I think I'll see more snow this spring. :()

Gary, your Man Jack (aka stag senator) is a cool  looking knife. What size is it?
Thanks, Dean. It's 3.5" closed. (Yesterday I also measured max "height" from backspring to spine, and max "width" cover to cover, but I've already forgotten those dimensions. Kind of chunky.)

Amazing ornithological photography, Dan!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Had a few different knives in my pockets today. Right now, it’s these these two. Just fun to look at while enjoying a nice cigar.:)

Two TEWs for you, Todd!:cool::thumbsup: You can join Harry in his two TEWs Tuesdays, too! ;)

Resurrection Guitar brought back my love of working on guitars, and it brings me good thoughts about my boy.
Thanks for asking and letting me share that.:)
Tough times, Jeff, but thanks for sharing that moving and inspirational story!:cool::thumbsup:

...
And I always have my trusty schrade made shapleigh.

Good Golly, Miss Molly!!:thumbsup::cool::cool: That's splendid!

Beautiful knife, GT. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :)

I’ve always managed someone else’s cattle for them; but today I put my own brand on my own cattle for the first time. I’m pretty excited.
Congrats on the big day, and best wishes going forward! :):cool:

Irresistible colors on that one, Dean!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Going easy on my pockets with these two from Robeson. :)
Pleasing Pocket-Eze pair, JJ!:thumbsup::cool: Do Pocket-Eze knives always have sunk joints?

Commendable couple of folders, Steve!:cool::thumbsup:

Moose and whittler for me on a beautiful spring like day.

Supreme pair of knives, Greg; I especially like the looks of that round-bolstered moose!:cool::thumbsup:

Found this strange bird perched on my fence today:
:D At first, I thought you had added a thumb stud to your Okapi, but after seeing your post of another knife in another thread, I realized the "thumb stud" is a stick-on "google eye".:cool::cool:

Carried this micarta Sowbelly all weekend. It’s pretty much perfect in the F&F department. Another example of what Case can do when they’re on their game.

Thanks, Dean. :)
I like the looks of your Congress!:thumbsup::thumbsup: (I've been surprised that using a congress knife doesn't really thrill me much, even though in theory I like features of the pattern.)

Thanks, Dean; I think I like old USA Imperials at least as much as any other knives I have. :)

That elk is enchanting, Dean!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you for your comments, Gary. Regarding using a congress knife; I had the same feeling the first time I used one. I used this one for a couple things the day I posted it and I don't remember having a problem.

Thanks, Dean. It's 3.5" closed. (Yesterday I also measured max "height" from backspring to spine, and max "width" cover to cover, but I've already forgotten those dimensions. Kind of chunky.)

Thank you, Gary.
