What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Case stag Mini-Copperlock. Today is my Dad’s 85th birthday, my Mom will be 85 in a few weeks. I’m heading inland to take them to lunch and visit for a while. Thought I would pocket this Case today, I gave it to my Dad for a birthday or Christmas present 20 years ago and he gave it back to me last fall. As we both like it well enough to gift it to each other it makes a great carry for the day. OH

Beautiful knife.

The 94 is a great one. You’ll likely love it.
New to you?
Yep. A fellow owed me a little money and he threw this in to call it even. I took that as a sign that I should give it a try.
I think most guys would throw this knife in the safe.
Not me... It's way more valuable to me in my pocket. ;)
Nice! Whatcha gonna cut first?

:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I only have one knife that sits in the safe...
My Hartshead Stag Barlow, can't bear to use it and can't bear to sell it.
Right after I posted that I thought about the two knives I have that belonged to each of my Grandpas. They’re not in a safe but they might as well be because I don’t carry them. They’re nothing fancy but too sentimental to use or risk losing.

How does your wife feel about your photo creativity and your son's birth? Are you allowed in the room if you have a camera?? :D
Generally my wife is supportive of my photography habit as long as it doesn't cost too much... you think knives are bad, check out the prices of some mid- to high-level cameras and lenses! I have made some money by shooting headshots for her sister's vocal students though. As for being allowed in the delivery room with a camera, I was allowed when my daughter was born, but I had to stay by the head of the bed! I only took pictures after she was born anyway.
It turns out that there are a lot of babies being born now (covid lockdown ended about 9 months ago). We were hoping for an induction on the weekend, but there's still too many ahead of us on the list so we're still waiting.
Still carrying my peanut.

Headed out to the Doctor today for my quarterly check up. Thank God I only had Jaw Cancer; therefore, there will be no finger wave required.:) Of course a trip to the Wagon Wheel Cafe afterwards will be required and then on to the Holiday Market for groceries. Oh yeah. I'll shoot for a haircut between the Doc and the Wagon Wheel Cafe.

I'll dress up my Sod Buster Jr. carry with this one in Deep Canyon Autumn Bone.
