Apologies for missing everyone's knives the past few days, I haven't been able to access the internet, except in an extremely limited way, and getting matters resolved during our current state of lockdown was extremely difficult o_O Hoping I've got it fixed now :confused:I hope everyone's keeping well :) I've mainly been carrying these two while I've been away, and again today - my Hartshead Barlow and a Maserin Filiscjna :thumbsup:

Great to see you back, Jack; love the Wharncliffe on your Filiscjna, excellent partner to your Hartshead! :D:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Excellent Continental wooden pair! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: How do you like that Aitor Pastor?

It's a deal, Jeff! ;):thumbsup: Couple of fine single-bladed knives for you! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

That Böker Barlow with der Baum on the bolster is a bewitching beauty!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

What a quality Queen whittler, P&G! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

It feels like it's been ages since I carried the good 'ol G20, sometimes I overlook it because it's a bit plain but function beats all and in that regard it's king.
Handful of good stuff there! :thumbsup::cool::cool: The gray half whittler looks distinguished, and that spoon-handle suspension clip on your keys is fancy! I seem to remember when you got new shoes, too, and I'd have said it was quite a while ago, but your shoes still look almost NIB! ;)

Case Canoe.

That canoe has character and charisma! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Case medium stockman in Chestnut bone.

Great bone color, Dean! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: Does that stockman have much blade rub?

Grabbed these two to help me cut through plastic wrapping at my storage; glad I did. :)
A new arrival ALOX Farmer X today.

Hope everyone is doing well. First post in a long time. Today, GEC 66 and Alox Farmer.

Fabulous Farmers' Market, JJ & Tom & @JB in LV ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Camillus 69 and a GEC 43

Sweet pair, Steve; if I can only vote for one, I'll go for the curvaceous Camillus with the crinkly cattle bone and sunk joints! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Had these two with me today.

sweet punch & long—pull Spey ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thank you again pal !
Thanks for the extra photo, Gus, showing off the charms of that venerable knife! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the compliment! Yep, it's a Cadet - it hasn't missed a day in the pocket since Christmas.:)
Thanks for the confirmation, @Headwinds ! :)

Thanks, Gary. Most of them are doing fine, but I'll miss the big rosemary bush.

I'm no horticulturalist, and know nothing about rosemary, but we have a lot of perennials in Michigan that look like dead sticks in winter but a miracle occurs in spring! Maybe this link offers hope (or not)?

Hanging out with my latest arrival

That's very cool, and ancient, I'll bet. Congrats! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Gary--yes, second dose didn't have much of an impact except a sore spot on my arm, which lasted about a day. My wife felt a little worse for a bit, but nothing too severe at all.

As for the Greek, at one point I was speaking it, and being schooled in it as often as English. Between my father, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parochial school/church, it was a regular part of everyday life.
Glad the COVID shots weren't a problem. :cool::thumbsup: My daughter's boyfriend felt quite awful for almost 3 days after his second dose (Modern, I think).
I'm always kind of amazed by the ease with which many folks handle being raised bilingual! :thumbsup::cool:

Victorinox alox Pioneer “Kingfisher” 97/100.;):thumbsup:

...
I always enjoy seeing your two-tone Alox, José! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I've never been into Trappers, and I'm giving this one a carry today to see what I've been missing.

How did you like carrying it? I'm not much of a full-sized trapper fan, but I really like mini trappers and slimline trappers.

I think most guys would throw this knife in the safe.
Not me... It's way more valuable to me in my pocket. ;)
Totally Cool TC Barlow, John!! :thumbsup::cool::cool: Is that new to you?

I received this Shuffler Slim on Monday and have been carrying it ever since. I'm smitten. Yes, its new and shiny (not really that shiny, but you know what I mean) and I have a short attention span when it comes to new and shiny, but this thing is seriously nice. I'm impressed.

Sorry to hear, but I hope he’s turned that corner. A degree of protection from the virus is worth the occasionally unfortunate price of admission—that’s my position, anyway.

As for learning Greek as a kid, there were many culinary rewards that came with speaking properly to grandma, which helped keep me motivated!
