What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Friday and into the evening with Pearl
She doesn't get out much
... her mother won't let her

Had a huge evening meal and big ole slice of pie. I was stuffed.
Easy listening Cafe del Mar from Ibiza playing on the stereo, I plopped down in the big chair and started a relaxing session of sharpening Pearl.
Soon it was I began to wonder ... Has anyone ever drifted off to sleep while sharpening a pocket knife ... because I never have ;)

Since it is Old Friends Friday , I thought that I would carry a couple of knives that were gifted to me by a couple of friends . They may be OLD to a lot of you folks , but to me they are just a couple of young guys who I finally met in person in 2017 at the Rendezvous . I count them both as friends . If I carry one of these knives , I will always carry the other one too and always in slips . Two of my most Treasured knives .

Thank you very much Paul & Duncan !!!!!

Harry
Those ARE real treasures Harry, just beautiful!

Well, I can guarantee that my Grandfather carried that exact same knife, except in ebony, not bone. He had a broken Hammer Brand pen, a cheap Imperial barlow, and the EO Teardrop 4 line Camillus jack was his good knife.
Not wanting to risk carrying his, I searched for quite awhile before another popped up. Such a good knife!

Well, I certainly hope he never finds out!

:D
Great lil background on that bud. I can definitely agree it’s a great knife. Hope you have a great weekend and many blessings!!

Very nice Harry, they couldn't be in a better place then with you:thumbsup::)

Blindingly brilliant sunshine today and a load of mud underfoot from the meltwater. Time to go to the country-house for the first time in months. Hope the car doesn't get stuck in the mud  When you're in the '''' you need a good big knife in the coat :D What better than The Big CASE Stockman?
