A pair of awesome slicers for you today; have an excellent Easter Day, Jack!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

It was the July 2020 Buck of the Month. Buck's standard 420hc blade. The aluminum frame makes it almost as light as the 112LT plastic knife. At least in feel. I haven't actually weighed them and forget the weights off the top of my head. The screw together construction is nice in that you could take it apart if you wanted too. I probably won't ever do that unless I accidently come into a 112 blade with upgraded steel. Frankly Buck's 420 is fine with me. I'm not a hard user.
It's a good sized, hand filling lightweight knife. I've carried it in a cargo pocket and forgot it was there :)
Super cool

I like the ornate Okapi, Tom!:cool::thumbsup: Are those some of the famous DC-area cherry blossoms?
Not the famous Tidal Basin blossoms, just some flowers growing near the lake I was walking around.

I wanted to take a picture of my neighbor’s magnificent magnolia, but the petals are brown and falling off already. The blossoms were just starting to reach peak, and then we were hit with overnight temperatures in the 20s, and 50 mph winds. Here it is from last year, though (posted then in a discussion about COVID and the beginning of the lock-downs):

Opening Day...
Reminds me of Vince Prester John Prester John . Hope he comes back some day.
Hey, John. Besides sweets and alcohol, I gave up bladeforums for Lent. I have a Case trapper with "He is Risen!" written on it:

but what I have in my pocket is my Case medium stockman:
