What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I carried this Boker Barlow today. Had a 35 HJ along as well but the Barlow was the star of the show for me as it was a gift, along with an equally beautiful and finely crafted knife slip, both courtesy of John DF. They arrived in the mail yesterday and I loving 'em both. Very kind and thoughtful of you John, I don't even know how to express how grateful I am
to be the recipient of such nice gifts.
On a side note I recently had gotten a Boker Club knife and had Boker Barlows on my radar as my next acquisition so this gift was perfect for me.:)

Very nice Greg! 👍 Is there anything better than a “gifted” knife? The answer is NO!😊

Life has been keeping me away from The Porch lately. :( Here are some comments on quotes starting from over a week ago (maybe when the new software came online).
Taking the CASE Swayback Gent Chestnut Bone out today.

It's interesting how Barehead knives with smaller bolsters work so well, shows off the bone to great advantage. Both are straight edges and think they look well side by side.

Unique wood, Todd, and belated happy 21st to your daughter!:cool::thumbsup: That SAK looks a little seedy.;)

My father-in-law carries a florist daily and I keep intending to get one. They are handy knives and I just enjoy the design.
I encourage you to get a Florist, Ross; I bought one because they were highly recommended here, and I've found it to be an even better knife than I was expecting.:cool::thumbsup: (Are they discontinued now?:()

That looks like a serious worker, GT.

Really like that Sheepsfoot !
I like that Sheepsfoot Gary, I don't recall having noticed it before
Thanks, John & Steve & Jack. :) I actually posted 3 "admirable" knives with sheepsfoot blades that day (Vic Florist, Cannon anchor knife, and Italian agricultural knife), so I'm not exactly sure which one you had in mind, but I think maybe at least 2 of you were referring to the Italian CEM. If I had owned it a little longer in 2020, I'm quite sure I'd have named it my 2020 Knife of the Year!:cool::cool:

It felt like a stockman kind of day. In fact, I think I’ll finish out the week with this one.
Looks like you've been putting in a lot of hours in the fields lately!:thumbsup::cool:

Toting a couple wearing wood, including a thrifty MAM slicer. :)

Had the second surgery yesterday. No, as my 4 year old son says “daddy’s got 2 bobo foots”. Right side doing well but still limited to heel pressure only. 2 weeks of bed and recliner. This one still accompanying me. Mr Al builds an incredible user custom knife.
