  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Still with the Brown Bone Boker today. The rain has cleared out, things are a mess, but the sun is shining!😎 my view is closing in fast.

Love the washboard scales on your Böker Barlow - they look good on that pattern. I have those same handles on a Whittler and really appreciate the craftsmanship.

Another Boker barlow again for me today, a nice bit of wood on this one.

What a splendid blade etch and bolster stamp! Never seen one of those, but if I do I will have to own it! OH

Today is moving day. The wife and I just bought our first house (thank you!). In addition to boxing up all my knives. I wanted to selectone to get me through all moving day tasks. And a few days of handy work at the house. I think I made the right choice.

Wish us luck.
Ok. LUCK!
I see you’re from Chicago...
Did you buy a house in the city, or relocate?

Exquisite equine scrimshaw, Rachel!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
I'd never even conceived of a "merhorse" before seeing this photo! o_O
It's a hippocamp, a fancy name for sea-horse (the merhorse kind). They're the ones what pull Poseidon's chariot.
I think my next project might feature a seahorse, but the other type. They don't swim well enough to pull anything. ;)
