Trav, that's a very nice and unique Fight'n Rooster! Do you know what the handles are? Your photo inspired me to carry one of my unusual Roosters, which for lack of a more unified term I call a dogleg gunstock. It's 3-9/16" closed.

That's a GEC pattern that I never bought when they released... kinda wish I had.

That knife is amazing with its unique shape and gorgeous stag... Dogleg Gunstock seems very appropriate.

I grabbed one of the Micarta trappers as well, but it’s on its way back today. It was a hot mess of all the typical Case issues in one knife. Too much to stomach. But I do love the look. Glad you got a good one! Certainly agree with rounding the edges. Great call.

Housebound today. I'll be carrying this Scout Trapper should something come up. This is an early picture of the knife before I started developing a patina on it but since it's suppose to rain and snow over the next few days I thought this picture was appropriate.

LOL! When I was in my early 20's, before I had kids myself, I was a full-time youth-worker, and in the summer sometimes had to look after up to 70 kids, of all ages, on my own! After a couple of hours looking after 2 or 3 kids now, I look back on that with incredulity, and I certainly don't feel young! Great pic my friend, enjoy your chicken

No Jeff. As a matter of fact, I had de-greased it as I was going to make it another knife on a tin roof experiment



but when it started to sprinkle/rain a bit, I changed my mind and took it off the roof wet and snapped a picture of it before wiping it off when I brought it back in the house. Decided it was too nice a knife for that kind of experiment.
