Thanks ! It's a Boker Hunter, that comes in 3 possible blade configs. This one is the Trio, with blade, cork screw and saw. It’s got my vote. Tell us more about it. You don’t see cruwear very often in slip joints. I happen to like cruwear.
Nice bonsai! I had one for a few years, and loved it. It died maybe 4 or 5 months after the birth of my daughter. Coincidence? I think I am ready for a new one!Caught no fish yesterday...back to spring garden work. Got the same one...again. View attachment 1566867
Jack, it's good to see that you're doing your part to relieve historic tensions between Britain and France by simultaneously carrying your stag HHB and your Douk-Douk!Have a good week everyone

Bodacious brace of Bökers, Todd!Hauling these two Germans around today.View attachment 1565626
I really like the pattern illustrated by the Pal folder, Jeff: EO swell end, spear/pen, bail, and jigged bone. Seems like every company used to make them!View attachment 1565634
Paired up two Pals today. The little fixed blade is just right for carrying in my pocket. I made the sheath with a heavy welt for safety.
Yesterday I put fifty tomatoes and fifty pepper plants out into the garden. They were happy to be set free from their starter pots, but my knees and legs in general are not so happy.
I'm kind of fond of the clip/spey or clip/wharncliffe (spey/wharncliffe would be even better1978 Case 6207

5K Qs ~ I appreciate the kind comments!
You seem to be getting quite adept with the new forum features!
For me, it was just being forced to figure out what I’d been doing wrong for several years.![]()
The "empty nest" thing is definitely different, Todd.Think of it as consistently good!
Thanks Gary. It was a great time, still can’t believe my boy is off to college in the fall, and we will be “empty nesters,” scary and exciting at the same time!![]()
I enjoy the clever photos you post BroJim!Went noodling around and came up with this neglected CASE MAKO for today's tote

That yellow Buck Barlow is a model I don't see posted here very often - very cool!My monday trio. Or i should say my two usual suspects for work and one rotational just because knife, in this case the buck barlow. View attachment 1565750
I had fresh strawberries for the first time this spring as part of my breakfast today, JJ. They were good, but not as tasty as your pair of strawberry Robeson jacks!
Thank you, Gary; 'tis true. I decided to give the Avatar a little more pocket time for a few days.![]()
Congrats on the new trapper, Dean!I started the day with the top Case Trapper, then a package came and I pocketed my new Case Trapper in Green Canvas Micarta.

Fantastic French pair, José!
Looks good, John!
Looking forward to your B&S knife being introduced to sausage!I haven't had any sausage or other BBQ in a while, but I'll be sure to snap a picture when I do.
A Barlow and a whittler for today:

That Voos has some juice, Greg; electrifying!!Voos and a Queen DFC were in the pockets today.

Thank you, GT.Looks good, John!
Yes, they aren't all washed-out by the bright color.Seems to me that the details in the jigging are more apparent
Thanks my dad got me into it. Shoot me a pm if you need any info I would be glad to help you get back into it. I have a lot trees now.Nice bonsai! I had one for a few years, and loved it. It died maybe 4 or 5 months after the birth of my daughter. Coincidence? I think I am ready for a new one!
Lovin the "taper" of the splitback!John Howser today...View attachment 1566974

Congrats on the new trapper, Dean!Is that a single blade in the "regular" 54 frame, or is that the "slimline" 48 frame? (I'm guessing 54 frame, because it's not a "skinny" clip blade.)

Definitely taking you up on your offer. PM sent! Thanks my dad got me into it. Shoot me a pm if you need any info I would be glad to help you get back into it. I have a lot trees now.![]()
Thank you, and thanks for the storage offer, but we just rented a storage unit at the marina. My wife thinks it’s for the boat until we get the dock finished, but it’s really for my knives! You have been killing it with the new knives lately! They all look awesome. If you need a place to store some of your overflow, i got a spot for you![]()
Thanks! Sorry to hear you didn’t get an acceptable one. Are you going to try again?Thank you sir! I’d say your handsome trapper/stockman duo is knocking it out of the park as well.
I grabbed one of the Micarta trappers as well, but it’s on its way back today. It was a hot mess of all the typical Case issues in one knife. Too much to stomach. But I do love the look. Glad you got a good one! Certainly agree with rounding the edges. Great call.
Great pair John!
I’m really liking mine. It does seem like that are doing more Micarta, which is just fine with me!Those new trappers are very cool. I love barehead knives. Seems like Case is doing more micarta lately.
Beautiful and very creative photo!
Thanks Gary! I know, the view goes away pretty quickly. During the summer I like to have my coffee down on the dock, should be great for pictures!Bodacious brace of Bökers, Todd!
But I'm starting to worry about not seeing the lake for the trees in your photos as spring turns toward summer.
The "empty nest" thing is definitely different, Todd.
When our daughter went off to college, the same place where I taught, she ended up getting assigned to a dorm room whose window I could see from my office window. She accused me of some kind of shenanigans, but it was pure coincidence.
