Rigged up a seat in the wagon behind the Cub Cadet for my daughter, put our straw hats on against the sun, sprayed up against the skeeters, filled a water bottle, and went around the pond where the wild black raspberries and gooseberries grow.
Thought I’d get enough for a pie, but at four cups per pie, I got enough for about six pies.BBFA4A7B-2C8F-49E1-BBE6-B7C713ADEC23.jpegPurple fingers come with the job, so does a little blood. If I could only have one knife...

Kent Sportsman’s Knife. Not sure if it’s lust, or love, but I’m feeling something.
My Grandpa’s old farm/fishing knife.
It was a huge surprise to find this in his tackle box months after he passed away.

Edit to add…
There’s a good chance it came from this General Store that my Great Grandfather Henry owned.
Cool little chunk of history I recently learned from my Dad.

The family history makes it priceless.
Case made a solid TL-29!
Suppose there’s a record somewhere showing your Great Grandad was a Case dealer!
